I tried to book an appointment with Mel through the text option that was posted. She never responded to me about services for two days straight and was very unprofessional when she did respond to me about hair services. I run a business as well and was very disappointed if that’s the quality of staff you hire. If I did want to try another hairstylist there she made me rethink that option at this place.

The service was top notch Biggie Shortie and the whole staff was like a big family. It was nice very personable.

Very unprofessional just bad for business had a appointment scheduled at 9am get to the shop and ain’t nobody there waited an hour just to give @biggieshorttie the benefit of doubt still nobody and they don’t answer yo phone calls

Had a recent appointment with one of the locticians. "Biggie C Shorttie/Cemme". She Cancelled on me Yesterday 20 min before my Scheduled appointment. I was already in route to get my hair done n was traveling from out of town. I was over Half way to the shop and received a text saying Sorry! "I just woke up". A lil snow had fallen that night but Didn't Ice Up! The loctician said that it was Bad Outside n Could We reschedule to Sunday? My reply was " I will be out of town on this Sunday that's y I was trying to get my hair done Wednesday. " I understand that things can come up unexpected. Weather, etc.but, this particular young lady was Very Unprofessional. She didn't even reply to my respond of not being able to reschedule for sunday as if She Didn't Care if I could or couldn't. She also has Very Poor Communication when your trying to make an appointment with her. I was referred to this young lady BC I heard she was One of the Best Locticians in St. Louis n that's what I needed on my hair. I'm from S. C I've been growing my dreads for 10years from One Loctician. Thought I was referred to a Good Loctician to get my dreads back healthy n manageable. NOT! Haven't had Any luck with finding a Good, Professional Loctician the 2 yrs that I've been in Illinois. Money ISNT the Problem. I Pay for Whatever services my hair might need. That's what I work hard for.
She didn't have to handle me the way that she did. Its a Better n more Professional way to deal with people when they need your Services. February 22,2019. When You know that you have plans to go to Vegas on the day that You Confirmed an appointment for someone, be Str8 Up with that person and tell them so they can look for someone else to do the services. Just like You had plans I Did too and my hair was included. I was Depending on you n trusted your word. You Was Soooooooo Wrong for LYING TO ME KNOWING that You wasn't going to Show up Anyway. "Social Sites" tell it all!

They are very fast & friendly! Down to earth, warm welcoming atmosphere from ladies, men to children go there often. Great Stylist's & Barbers Reasonable prices

My son gets sliced up here (his haircut) by the owner Cordell. He's very nice, professional, and usually there's not a wait. Usually. But my son is always happy when he goes, so that makes mom happy. S/O to Cordell!
