Grace And Truth Church, Independence MO

Yesterday was my 2nd visit to Grace and Truth Church. The greeters were so welcoming with their beautiful smiles. Pastor Stewart's message was on time and one of my take aways is redeeming the time I wasted. I can do it by being consistent in reading/studying God's word and spending more time with Him. The bulletin helps a lot with note taking and recording the message online gives me an opportunity to listen to the message again. I look forward to visiting again when Im in the area. I went to this church with a friend, it was our first time attending. The people were very friendly.
The Church was warm and inviting. We were greeted at the door by the Pastor.
We were given a gift or guest package at the front counter, and usher to our seats.
Before service I had to visit restroom. It was so neat, clean and decorated beautifully.
When service started I was truly impressed with the Pastors message and how well he expounded on the word of God. I left with a deeper understanding than just hearding a sermon.
His sermon all so convicted me that I need to spent more time in the word of God myself if I want to walk closer and deeper in the will of God.
So all I can said about Grace And Truth Church is well done. Keep doing what God has call you to do, be blessed and let your light every shine bright.

I love my church because we are family like families is supposed to be I love the fellowship that we have with one another

I've been trying to write this review or at
least wanting to for days now. Not wanting to give a lengthy explanation of why I love my Grace & Truth family but still wanting others to know why I'll be here until the rapture or till God calls me home! I've been a Christian for 65 years and I've been attending churches all my life. I can name every church since my salvation. I accepted Christ at The Independence Baptist Church in Leavenworth, Kansas and have been a member at 4 other churches here in Kansas City since 1973 but none as loving and caring as Grace & Truth! Never have I felt such genuine love from the beginning. I finally found my forever home! No sugar-coated sermons to tickle your ears, no negative cliques where you can't fit in. Grace and Truth is what I imagine Heaven to be. You are welcome to come as you are!

Today's message was inspiring and challenging. My main take-away was Ray's repeated, "If the Bible says so, just do it! " (Sorry Nike) Ray's Bible teaching is the best I have had in my 50 years as a believer.

I cannot think of a greater please to grow and learn with authentic fellowship and loving people. Grace and Truth is what God intended for Church to be.

Today’s Message on The Foundation of Our Faith was great. The thing that stood out to me most was the analogy comparing God’s work in the life of the believer to the US Military’s training of new recruits. Being an Army veteran, I definitely identified with the comparison of the 3 things the military teaches/trains new recruits & God’s training for new believers 3 things:

1. The recruit becomes a lifetime member of the US Govt’s military (and a veteran for life) — the believer becomes a member of the Body of Christ for life as a spiritual soldier

2. The military teaches/trains the recruit who the enemy is & how to identify them - the believer is taught how to identify the enemies of their faith

3. The military trains the recruit on how to break down their weapons and use them efficiently - the Lord has given us his Word (the Bible) to teach his children how to break it down (rightly divide it) and use it to recruit new believers and defend against the enemy
