This place has a large collection of local history. The host was extremely kind and very helpful in helping us find out more about our ancestors that used to live in Chillicothe! Very fun place to go, definitely go for a visit.

Great museum. Was looking for a print of local covered bridge. Dan printed me one. He was a wealth of knowledge for local history, covered bridges. And sliced bread! Will return.

Lots of items to view. Everything from Indian relics i.e. Arrowheads, stones, etc.found in and near the Grand River. Bread slicer, jail cell, trains, fire house memorabilia, armed services displays, "main street" Chillicothe. Very interesting and worth a visit! Can't beat the price, FREE. Donations appreciated.

This is a great example of life in the mid-west. Item’s wonderfully preserved and displayed. Very welcoming and worth getting out of the car for. Thank you for this!

Really a lot of information and artifacts for a small town museum. We came for the sliced bread day demonstration, which was really neat and well done, and stayed to look around at all the information. It has a lot of local history displayed which was really unique, but it also displayed them in really classy and professionally done displays. It holds a lot of “small town” and yesteryear slices of life that bring back memories of how things used to be. Very interesting for adults as well as unique and interesting displays for kids. We will be back next time we come through!

We had great time and lots of old things. Danny was great and nice to take us around. He told stories.

I can't rate this five stars enough! They opened it open outside their normal hours for us. The guy walked around with us and explained some of the exhibits and there was sooo much there! This was one of the best museums I've been in! Don't leave town without seeing it!
