Great Clips, O'Fallon MO

Just a quick "chop shop". Not many additional services. Prices are fairly high for just haircutting.

Was given completely uneven haircut by a hairdresser that was annoyed that I was even there. I was first scolded for not informing them at check in that I wanted a cut and flat iron, to which I replied that I was never asked anything other than my name and phone number. What I am now left with is a blocked out bad, obvious layer in front of my face, and she had the audacity to charge me $79 dollars for this mess. I could not let them take more scissors to my hair and create an even shorter, unmanageable mess. Will be having to now spend additional money elsewhere to fix their awful job.

I get there at 9 and the store isn’t open. There was a worker in there that saw me holding my 2 year old and another customer outside. She just walks away to there back room and just hides there. It is now a half hour past the time the place is post to be opened. And it’s 40 degrees outside. This is unacceptable.

I seriously don't even want to give this place Any stars. My daughter took my granddaughter there to get her hair thinned out the layered it. Noooo not on thick hair and this girl butchered her hair. Badly. I about died when she brought her home I said what in the hell did she do to her hair? The manager redid it and it was even worse. She had the guts to tell me I dyed my granddaughter hair as she has natural white blond hair from birth and now it changing and is an Ombre color Which is very beautiful with still a lot of blond in her hair. I would never dye a child's hair. So warring. They do not know what they are doing. Do not go here as they are butcher's of hair. My poor grand daughters hair was to her butt and it was up to where a brew strap is. Omg they cut so much off cuz the manager redid it and took off more. I just trimed it up from the last time and omg it had short and long strips so unevenly. And never again.

I have been coming here for years but last 2 experiences were disaster. Once cut wrong cannot be fixed. They don't even care. Just walked away. Not coming back again.

I hadn't had my hair cut since February 2020, I went in to store with no wait and my hairstylist did an amazing job and my hair looks so healthy and fabulous.

Help me understand. I have a new hire in my store and cares for his daughter and a single father. And is treated less than by your team because of what? Then to be laughed at as he left, because he refused great clips to service him and his family. Shame on your team. Great Clips has always treated me great and i refereed them their. Now you lost multiple customers. I would watch video of YOUR TEAM and see the disrespect yourself.

The customer service here is ridiculous. I got greeted by an old man who wanted to argue about my name in the system when I was staring at a screen that said my name on it, just for a lady to come over and argue about the same thing like, what’s the big deal just give me a haircut I will never go back to this location again it’s sad that we have to entrust people like this to cut our hair. Not cool great clips. I would definitely think friendlier employees.

Had a terrible experience! Not sure if we were being racially profiled but both people working there got confrontational with me about checking us in to get a cut and nobody else was in the store! Very upset since they also left my cousin with his hair looking like this!

Good no wait time, in right away, prices are getting rater high for seniors though, and haven't seen any coupons in a long time. I have heard they are much cheaper in other parts of the country like Florida. Didn't care for their suggested tip amounts on the screen, should just say tip and let you decide the amount.

Always get a great cut.the staff is great.very good products for all hairstyles.thanks for everything you do.

Every time I walk in there, the girls always know how I like my hair done, how my boys like their hair done, and I can always start off the "chair gossip" (lmao) right where I left off from when I was in months ago because these women know me so well! I don't have my hair cut anywhere else!

I always look forward to coming here when I want a haircut. Linn has been an excellent stylist since my last one left the profession. She listens to me when I want to change the style a little bit and offers alternative ideas. Waiting time even without an appointment is never very long due to the efficient efforts of the rest of the staff. Good prices also!

Do the online check in to save time. Jill was friendly and did a great job. Price They was very reasonable. They have a military discount.

Last Wednesday I checked in online.was able to get in and get taken care of. I informed the lady all I wanted her to do was go around and clean up my hairline. My hair had an obvious weight line and as she was cutting my hair she blended it. Super disappointing. Please just follow simple instructions it would have been so easy. It's going to take awhile but it'll grow back out but in the future when I walk in there if she tries to cut my hair I'm going to decline and ask for somebody else. I normally get my haircut stare and I'm typically pretty pleased. I normally tip I normally add a $15 tip this time I only added a $7. I am so frustrated not going to mention the name

Update: I have had many great experiences since the 2 years ago post. Recent was Michelle she did an amazing job (5 star job) She was attentive and very sweet to my youngest daughter and myself. I honestly felt extremely relaxed after my hair cut. I feel like she could go to a higher paying salon and I would go and pay more for her. I should have went to her again for my oldest daughter. Michelle did such a great job and I recommend her or Skip both great stylist. However, just went to today for my oldest and got Genny. She was not attentive and even though it was a straight cut she basically did nothing with her hair. My daughter has long hair and we were in and out in less than 5 minutes. My daughters hair has never taken just 5 minutes. Honestly was mad because its like she did nothing. I didn't get mad at the stylist I just got mad walking out the door because I feel it was a waste. You take some time with kids. It's not a buzz cut situation and leave. After getting home she didn't even get it straight i basically wasted my money on my daughters hair. Going to different location to get it fixed. I don't recommend Genny at all. It's all on luck of the draw with stylists. Not sure if this is her regular mo but today she didn't do a great job.

2 years ago. Normally the stylist do a good job but my daughter and I had hair cuts recently, I wanted layers and they used thinning shears and now a bunch of my thickness is gone. My daughter's hair wasn't straight and hers is long and we wanted it one length. Based on this visit I give 2 stars but normally is a five.
