Green Hills Grocery, St Joseph MO

Every time I go here, they have signs for stuff on sale, then I get to the register and it's never really on sale. I take pictures of all the sale signs and then told it's not supposed to be there. Its the only grocery store on this side of town and at this point I'd rather waste gas driving to other places where the sales really are sales and they don't put signs on stuff that isn't on sale just to get you to buy it. Also, everything in the store is at least 20% higher on their regular prices than anywhere else. I get it life is getting expensive but don't try to cheat people and usesales to do it.

I talk a lady here to do her shopping and they have things here I can’t find in other stores. Like Guys BBQ potato chips you don’t see those just anywhere! And 12 pk Strawberry Crush soda. If you can’t find something in other stores try it out here.

Very high priced the sacker wasn't very friendly at all, kinda throwing our things in bags, didn't offer to help us out.

Everyone in the store were very friendly. That is until we went back to the deli. The older lady was very rude. I asked if the livers and gizzards were freshly made and she said yes. It so happens they were not fresh she lied. We try and make it to your store a few times a month to get the chicken. But I can't say being treated rudely is worth it. She needs to work somewhere where she don't have to wait on people. And it wasn't because she was busy, we were the only two there. It'll be a while before we come back. Which is sad

Never a complaint with this store, I know the times to go and not to go, like any place it has a busy and not busy time, always well stocked, workers know exactly where items are if you can't find something, well maintained as far as cleanliness.

I don't care for self checkouts always like the communications with a lot of the cashier stand there.although there is an older lady that is very cranky. You have to bring something back she gives you a really hard time.deli needs more help and too much just made it one time to dry.but very glad they're in our neighborhood.

Smoke another one bag boy, I know the chicken livers are by the chicken products in the meat case. Worse than Walmart

Very friendly, staff gave both my boys an ice cream sandwich on a hot day last week. Found what I needed. Prices were alright. Haven't been inside Green Hills in probably 10 years. Looks the same as it did 20 years ago.

Clean I'll be glad when I learn how to do the coupons on the green hills app I save money ney here. The meat taste better

I suspect this grocery store is busy because it's in a spot where there isn't one for miles. I've been in a couple of times and food is expensive and the meat section some of it just didn't look good. I ate once out of their deli and I won't do that again. It does serve a purpose.
