Greensfelder Park Visitors Center reviews
6Uncrowded wooded area with full shelters equipped with grills, benches and most importantly restrooms.
Good trail but doesn't make a complete loop. I came out at the horse jumping ring.
I would say go during the week when its less busy. Some of the sigh s can get confusing when using connector trails.
We love visiting Greensfelder in the autumn as the leaf colors last a bit longer than other St. Louis locations. We went on Nov. 3rd with these photos taken on higher grounds despite missing the leak color days. Keep watch for horse poop on the trails if you're hiking.
And absolutely beautiful place. I had to poop and there was no toilet seat
I didn't actually go into the visitor's center but we hiked a few of the trails. Love the park and trails, beautiful! The trails are well labeled, maintained and not too difficult. It's conveniently close to hwy44 and only 30min outside the city, so I can get out there, hike for a few hours and get back into the city all in an afternoon!
*Warning* since the trails are also horse friendly be aware of "piles".
