Restaurant Grill Stop reviews
14This is a good takeout only spot if you want a freshly-cooked quick bite. They have burgers, sandwiches, salads, fried fish and shrimp, steak and my favorite - chicken wings and tenders. You can order ahead or walk in. Everything is inexpensive and the taste is great.
The food is good, the service is not great. They can be a little off putting.
I would like to see more sided options other than fries. And allow people to sub out when they don't want frys.
Very tasty, great prices and I had plenty left over for tomorrow. The fish and jumbo shrimp were perfect and juicy.
The wings were very small. I wasn't expecting bird wings. There was not enough pickles and onions for the fish and what it cost. It must improve. I have had better food from there before!
Had no Friday special to take advantage of payday. I suggest another place to eat. Did not order because of price. Went to Captain D's.
Wings are very good crispy and juicy they also have family specials, very fast service good and hot food
Cashier was very nice and communicative. I got a bacon cheeseburger with cheese fries and a drink for 11, which is an amazing price. The burger was very good. Very peppery and well seasoned. The fries were OK — I would have preferred them to be crispier, but might just be me! It was a ten minute wait, but they seemed to have a good amount of call ins. I also bought some of the cake, which wasn’t anything to write home about — it was kind of dry.
If I could give negative stars, I would. Do NOT EAT HERE if you actually want what they have listed. When I called, ordering was a nightmare, as the person on the phone had a very thick accent, and seems to be half deaf. I got the nachos, and although it states it comes with jalapenos, it indeed had none on there. They tried to tell me it was 'in the cheese sauce'. Bull. Not how it's listed on the menu. My boyfriend got the grilled chicken dinner, and it was supposed to come with a side other than fries. Welp, you guessed it. He got fries. Needless to say, when I called back, they didnt really care, and we're very dismissive. 10 out of 10 would NOT recommend.
The food and the service are great and the wait time for your order is short.
To save time, they can take your order over the phone.
Yes (accepts EBT) and no (There is no way that oil is changed every night.either that or just something back there isn't clean) If you fixed that it would be excellent. Also, the sewer somewhere near/in the building smells bad. Can't believe U City hasn't said anything about that.
This place is HORRIBLE AND I DO MEAN BOTTOM OF THE BARREL BAD. My daughter and I love Mallys but since we were on this side thought we'd try something different HUGE MISTAKE.they forgot our cakes we paid for and had to go back and ask for I ordered simple lemon pepper wings and cheese fries.simple right WRONG the chicken is overcooked in old grease the cheese on the fries was spicy not regular cheese and they don't tell you that then no salt and pepper to give charge extra for everything ranch a seasoning everything JUST PASS ON BY I WOULDN'T feed this food to a stray dog very disgusted and disappointed and she refused to give a refund even though I didn't eat it
The food is "ehhhh" save your money or go to delmar loop if you want a gyro. They have way better ones on the loop there's a couple of places I go. Also they charge extra for sauce and the lady who talks on the phone doesn't understand you at all when ordering just avoid this place. Also the kitchen looks really dirty and if you scroll down you'll see the past employee comment about sanitation.
I saw someone complain about their meal. It was not about the quality or quantity. It was the meat in her gyros was chopped and not sliced. My meal was good. Hot and plentiful.
I've been coming here since they opened. Always good food but, I just left there after ordering a gyro combo. When I asked for a little container of tzatziki sauce which is usually free, she told me it would cost $1.99! Now we're talking about those little containers with two tablespoons of cucumber mayonnaise. I could hardly believe my ears. Has it really come to this?
