I have frequented GroomTheory for a considerable amount of time. The ambiance is pleasant. Everyone is pleasant, and the environment is clean. I have only received a haircut from Lake, one of the barbers at the St. Charles shop. His haircuts are among the greatest I've ever received. He engages in conversation with you and genuinely gets to know his clientele. Very effective at communicating and alerting you to potential conflicts. Professional and also an all-around nice man. Make sure you get you cut by him! All the other barbers are also excellent, so I would feel comfortable visiting others, but my motto is: "The best is the best. " If something isn't broken, don't fix it! Reserving a haircut in advance is required, which I also enjoy.
