Habitat for Humanity ReStore reviews
15I enjoy nosing around this place. New and used items. Lots of it too. The inventory changes of course so check back periodically.
Huge place. Furniture, light fixtures, bathroom stuff, and a lot or cabinets. Also a lot of small stuff like cleaning supplies and flooring products. Also sometimes a variety of small tools.
The staff is ignorant. Male Cashier prices my cart "Man give me eighty dollas. " I have like 2 cans of paint and a couple wood boards and some screws. I said "how about $40" he says Give me $70. Demanding tone. Ignorant, I've done alot of shopping there in the past but I won't anymore. If he's working, I won't waste my time.
It's not for everyone, if your in the mood for a fixer upper this is the place for you!
Got to keep an eye out with frequent trips due to rotation of stock. Good place to get doors for South City houses that are solid wood.
This is a great place to go for affordable light fixtures, appliances, and furniture. Sorting through items like doors, bed frames, etc.requires a fair degree of patience and the stuff is not well sorted. They’ve got some junk mixed in with the good stuff, but there are definitely quality items here.
I routinely visit the restore on Manchester and the St Peter's location. This one has some nice stuff and it's fairly well organized. The prices are way too expensive. I doubt I'll ever buy anything from there.
They do have stuff in sizes you probably won't find in the stores but they're way overpriced for stuff that's donated to them
Snagged some nice old/antique brass light switch plates and a antique bathroom sink! 1920’s vintage.
Love these stores. I have bought everything from pictures to major appliances. I would not be able to afford what I've got at retail stores. The best part is the money spent there is going for a great cause.
Great stuff. Good cause. Not just building stuff either. I found a used Christmas tree for $10.
Interesting stuff but you're not going to get a deal at this particular Restore. 10$ items at other restores being sold for $50 here. $25 stuff for hundreds. Employees don't have a clue about anything and don't care at all.
I've had mixed experiences when it comes to visiting the restore. But overall rating is what you see. The employees seem less than motivated to really be of help sometimes. The building where the items are sold has a true stagnant are issue which I consider environmentally unsafe. They need to seriously work on ventilation I wouldn't be surprised if the employees have or start to have severe sinus respiratory issues
A great place to get new/reusable items for home decorating or remodeling. It's always changing based on the donations they receive. It's well organized, the people are friendly and helpful! Best of all, it's for a great cause.
We were able to buy solid wood cabinets to redo our laundry area for only $30 a piece.
Large selection great prices on reused construction pieces. Quality place to buy household items. Especially cabinetry.
