I've been to Silver Screen a handful of times and always walk away above satisfied. However, this post is about my mom. She's 60 years old and over the last two years has been battling liver cancer and NASH. When I say her hair is her prized possession I am not exaggerating. Before every procedure she waits until going back to put the hair net on cause her hair has to look perfect always.

When her health started affecting her skin’s reaction to coloring she had to go cold turkey but Travis and Tesarah found a way to make her beautiful, natural salt and pepper hair look better than any dye could. They gave her more than just a cute cut and style; they gave her her confidence back. And now she's got the all clear to dye again she wants to go purple! My 60 year old mom is going to go purple. That's all thanks to Silver Screen Salon. Thanks for being so awesome and giving me back my mom!

I have been a client for a few years, and it’s the only place I will go now! My hair has a few tricky growth patterns and Travis is really the only person I have found who knows how to handle them. It doesn’t matter if I choose a shorter haircut, or leave it a little longer, it always looks good! It also looks good as it’s growing in, between cuts, which is 100% because Travis is so meticulous.

I have been going to Silver Screen for years. Travis and his team have my highest recommendation! Even when I lived 3 hours away I always made a point to book while I was in town because Travis gives the BEST haircuts. He always takes his time with my cut, color, and styling (and I have A LOT of hair!). Everyone at the salon is attentive, professional, and while still maintaining a casual and relaxing atmosphere. My mom, grandma, boyfriend, and a handful of friends all go here as well, so I can confidently recommend this place to just about anyone. Awesome location and local business to support here in KC!

The Only salon I will go to! Travis is the Guru - knows the chemistry of products and hair so is awesome at working with you to improve damaged or overprocessed hair. He has brought mine back from damaged to healthy and shiny! Just love Travis & Liam.

This place is amazing. My fiance and I were in town for the weekend and wanted to get out hair cut, and no one was able to get us in. We called them and the said they were about to close up for the night but would squeeze us in. They were super accommodating. To stay open to get our hair done is beyond great service. Travis really takes his time they his clients finding out what they want and getting it done how they want. I myself got a beard trim and cut as the Miss's got her hair cut. By far the best hair cut and beard trim I've ever had will most definitely be coming back. That's saying alot since we live 3hours away. Would highly recommend 100%.
