This Chinese Buffet is nasty as hell. First of all, the crab rangoons filling was watery in the inside dripping out! Some had NO FILLING at all inside! They were absolutely nasty! The waitress said that the company that sends them sent that batch & they came out like that after cooking them. Smh, so that tells me the filling is not made from scratch! Everything was warm NOT HOT! I’ve been here before & everything was pretty decent. I’m not sure what happen to this place but I will not return ever again. The waitress gave us 10% off due to the inconvenience. Crab Rangoons are my GO TO at Chinese Buffets! This was a disappointment for sure.

14 dollars per person for their food isn’t worth 5 bucks. The meat is nothing but fat. So disgusting. Not many dishes to pick from. Gross old fish. The desserts are all stale! The jello is gross and in an odd way dry and tasteless. It’s clear the food is reheated and poor quality ingredients. The meat is all fatty. Thing of it is you can’t complain they don’t care and you’ll be wronged by them.

We have 4 generations of family that have been regulars since the earlier days. This was apart of our family meetups for over 30 years. Our matriarch, Frances was close friends with Lee and Jenny, who always made us feel welcome and who maintained steadfast within the community. We have seen some good and bad days here. I have faith in the integrity and commitment of general manager I last saw operating right before and into 2020. I used to know the food layout like the back of hand, which shows the consistency, restock and awareness from the current manager. Running a restaurant isn’t for a novice, especially one being such a keystone in the community. I hope to see it continue good business.

Food used to be really good. Now not so much and don't keep it properly stocked. Ragoon was less than desirable. Not much inside and over cooked. Used to be perfect.

House special is delish but could be bigger pieces. Green beans are yummy.

Fish tank needs to go since it seems neglected.

Must have changed ownership or cooks. Some areas need to be updated.

My friend and I have been eating here for many years. And we often come here with colleagues and friends. We always feel that the food is diverse, and the food is authentic and delicious. The price is also very reasonable. We both loved it!

The young woman and the young man was very nice. You are appreciated!
The food was not very fresh. Out of about 40 items, there were 3 fresh items brought out while we were there. I will not be eating there again.
On the way to the bathroom, you walk through one door, and it stinks so bad that I thought that I was going to get sick. I ended up with diarrhea before we even left.

To be fair I was there towards 5he end of the time for the buffet. There were several choices, but none of the food was overly warm. I will probably try it again but will go a little earlier to see if it is better.

Restaurant was very hot! It was hotter inside than it was outside. Everything seemed kind of dirty as well. Food was passable at best.

They used to have the best crab Rangoon. Now it is not the same. I didn't see my beef pepper onion. They have 4 bars of food and 1 dessert bar. Fast service. Clean (tables & floors). Food stock was maintained. Have been to a better buffet in St Charles if options. What I ate was good. But lacking when it comes to Rangoon. Theirs used to be the best in town. Fish tank is nasty. Entry looks dirty / unkept. Bath room (ladies) old bits and pieced together. Could be modernized and lovely.

Decent Chinese buffet. For under 20 you’ll good a meal you won’t regret. The flavor is there for most of the dishes, the temperature can leave you wanting however.

Great service and really enjoyed the buffet.
Wish they had fried wontons and fried rice without the onions and vegetables available on the buffet, JUST A SUGGESTION.
A place I would definitely visit again though.

It has a lot of variety. I believe it's an authentic chineese restaurant. The only downside is that there were few flies in the place.

Food was pretty good, the egg rolls were a little on the Burned side and it took them a while to refill the pans

I have been eating the lunch buffet at Happy China since January 1988. Over the years, I will bet I have eaten everything offered on the buffet. The Pot Stickers, Spring Rolls, Hot and Sour Soup, and Egg Foo Yung are my favorites. I was reluctant to post this because once you try the Buffet, you will be a regular. There will be that much less for me!
