Harbell's, Springfield MO

Went on Friday night, yes they were busy, and yes they were under staffed. We sat down at the only table available, a waitress said Someone would come clean the table, they never did. Both waitresses looked at us, but never responded, so we waited so more about 45 minutes total, I finally just went to the bar to order my drinks and food, never did see the waitress, probably won’t go back.

Best wings in town! Highly recommend the smoked ones. Cool sports bar downtown. Just like everywhere they are low on staff right now but its totally worth it. They have great beer specials for different events. Today it's a $7 pitcher for the NCAA tourneys. Staff where very helpful and did an awesome job!

Great wings! Twice fried Arizona Gunslinger way to go! Good food in general! Plenty of beer and TVs! You won’t be disappointed.

Food was pretty good although not a bargain, the chips and salsa/queso appetizer was lackluster for $8, salsa wasn't great. Went on a Tuesday night and it was packed with only 2 very busy servers on the floor. Waited for our food for 45 minutes because of the lack of staffing.

My wife and I recently visited Springfield and were driving around on Friday evening and found this place. What a wonderful bar. The staff was very friendly, great atmosphere and plenty TVs that I’m sure you will find something of interest. Got there late so wasn’t able to get food but will certainly go back again and will recommend to others.

The new owners are not helping this place. The standards have fallen far. HARBELLS used to be one of our favorite lunch spots and we'd visit almost weekly. After the shut down we got used to not going out as much and only do special lunch outings anymore. We've been back a couple times now and have been disappointed each time.

Today was one of those outings and it was beyond disappointment. We ordered some drinks, chips and dip, and the taco special. Right out the gate something was off with the beer, but my boyfriend drank it even though it was more than likely wrong. Then our appetizer too forever to come out. When the chips, queso and salsa finally did come out it was a mess. The chips were burnt and the queso was cold and almost hard. I'm always the first to give a little leeway having spent years in the service industry myself, so I enjoyed the least burnt chips and the salsa.

Our tacos finally arrived and while my chicken tacos look fairly appetizing, my partner's hard shell beef tacos just looked sad. They looked like they had been either microwaved or sat under a heat lamp for too long. At this point he mentions our dissatisfaction with the chips and dip, that cost $9, and the server apologizes and gives us some story about a scheduling mix up causing problems in the kitchen. No offer to fix things in any way. We packed up the tacos and chips to go and try to salvage our lunch at home.

That server is the only reason I'm willing to give them at least one star, and that in itself is generous. She was kind and apologetic about the wait times, she was sure to check in with us regularly as well. But the excuse about scheduling and no attempt to fix the dip situation really rubbed me the wrong way.

I know you fix a problem you don't know about, so I hope the owners and staff see this criticism and fix what needs to be fixed so outher customers don't have to deal with what we dealt with today.

Great ambience, fantastic food, great wait staff! Too bad I was just visiting I would love to make this a regular dining experience!

Food was good and service was excellent. Wish Spfld would do something about the crowd you have to walk through to get there.

It was ok. Nothing spectacular. It seems as though the food quality and selection is designed to be able to hold more liquor.

One of the worst experiences I've ever had eating out. Service was terrible. Not just because they were clearly understaffed but our server couldn't care less about us. Waited a half hour for drinks. Waited over an hour for food, which never came, and we left. Terrible all across the board.

Great little bar. We were there with friends on a week night, and they were not busy. Excellent atmosphere. Fair prices and overall good drinks. Bartender struggled a little with a couple of special drink requests.

Loved the atmosphere of this place & the deals they offered on Sunday (seems like there are some pretty solid deals everyday.)

Vibes were great and we didn't get any grief as non-Chiefs fans, will absolutely be back.

I recently experienced their smoked wings doused in their teradactyl sauce.one of their unique specialties at their restaurant. Can't get enough.

Nice clean restaurant good service but the food wasn't hot we had 2 burgers one was well done and the other was extra well done but neither of them were even well done. Prices are high. Won't be visiting them again.

Just picked up my to go order of 6 wings and fries. The guy on the phone and in person (maybe the same person?) they were both friendly and provided efficient service. The food was fresh and tasty! Definitely recommend for lunch!

Had wings and some amazing pork nachos on home made potato chips.
Wish we lived locally. Definitely would be back.

This sports bar not only has amazing food but also amazing service! They also have a ton of TVs with a variety of games on! I suggest eating their nachos and wings!

I tried a couple of their draft beers which were nice and cold. We split the BBQ fries which were pretty good with lots of cheese and BBQ sauce on them. They have lots of TVs so this would be a good place for watching sports. We also had the wings, which are slow smoked, not fried, and excellent. We will go back any time we are in town.

Dad's day at MSU brought me back to Harbell's for the first time in a while. I loved my burger topped with an egg and the crisp french fries!

Ryan? Cause im black? ? Kidding. U were the best bar tender of the night! U wr awesome! Anyone reading.he was the best in springfeild! We will be back!
