Harbor Freight Tools reviews
11Great selection of things you can't get anywhere else unless you steal from your friends house. Prices are alot more expensive than they have been in past years.
I think Harbor Freight needs to clean up old expired coupons. To me it's kind lof like bate and switch. I was looking for furniture mover carts funny thing when you get to register to pay every add you looked at is expired and you end up paying full price.
I went to buy a battery powered drill. I checked online first, it indicated the drill wanted was in stock. Naturally they were out of stock. So I went to Home Depot and got what I wanted.
It was clean and had everything it should, but the floor guy who waited on me was not helpful and very impatient.
So easy to drop in and pick up what you need. Whether it’s tools, packing and moving supplies or some automotive items you can usually find what you need. The staff is also extremely helpful and can always point you to the exact location of the item you are looking for. Great service.
Tool quality slowly keeps getting better. Hard to keep up with ads and expiration dates. They try to be helpful.
Oh what can I say about a “Dad” like me in a tool store! Did I say tool? More like toy! Still my preferred store even though others might be closer. I would like to see a larger footprint store and some tool demonstration days!
This used to be a great store to go to. This new batch of employees seem to be miserable working there now. Not sure what changed but I'll drive another 15mins to the wentzville location from now on. Don't want to make it worse for the employees by coming to this location.
What can I say it's a man's place to wander aimlessly like you really need something when your wife is shopping for clothes.
Apparently the website is just a "suggested" list of items you might be able to buy from them. After going to 3 locations that listed items I needed as "in stock", I had to pre-order the items and wait 3 weeks so I can go back and pick them up. No discount for my wasted time and gas though. Been the same basic experience the last 3 times I've tried to buy from Harbor Freight.
Came in today to buy a belt sander. Love coming here for things like that for the price and convenience, but the guy at the register was insanely pushy with their inside track member program (or whatever it's called). I politely declined but the guy wouldn't drop it. It took 4 no's and finally me getting visibly frustrated before he rang me out. I guess they either have a quota or get some kind of incentive to get people to sign up, but holy cow what an unpleasant experience. Probably won't be coming back for a while.
