DO NOT MOVE HERE! This is the absolute worst apartment I have ever had the displeasure of living in. Management was incredibly dismissive and will try to rob you as much as possible. There is no rush for maintenance, even in cases of emergency. There was an electricity shortage in my kitchen and living room (causing me to be in the dark after sundown or restricted to my room and not able to cook or refrigerate my food). I’ve had maintenance show up without notice while I was gone, and came home to my door wide open and even after complaining that I felt uncomfortable and people coming in without notice, nothing was done. Save yourself the trouble and find somewhere else that cares about their tenets.

They own sunwest storage and can't be bothered to take care of a storage unit. If you can't take care of a storage unit then how are you going to take care of a living space?

I’ve never lived in one of their places but I’m hoping to rent a studio apt from them my family has lived at forest cove apts on s. Wilder for 12 in a half yrs and they love living there…. That’s why I gave 4 stars

Haselhort properties are slum Lords. We moved into the apartment they rented us it had a broken window from someone squatting in the apartment. Still has not been repaired 7 months later. The exhaust fan in the bathroom went out they did not fix. The maintenance person removed it and left a gaping hole in the ceiling. Now were in June without air conditioning during a heat wave I have called and submitted multiple request to get the unit serviced. I have a small child and work from home but a great combination for miss summer and no AC. This Rental agency is horrible they will take your rent money and not even fix things that break. Do not waste your time or money with these people.

They took OVER 16 days to replace my A/C unit in the middle of the summer! Management will treat you like garbage and take advantage of you every chance they get. Do not rent even if it's cheap. I would gladly pay an extra $50/month to have property management that is accommodating to the tenets. This is not just a warning to potential renters but also potential owners looking for property management. I will be in contact with the owner of my building and I will most likely add stress to his day. If you would like to avoid interactions like that, choose property management that keeps the tenants happy. And your life will be happy as well.

You guys are total slum lords. You make it so blatantly obvious how little you care about your tenants. Maintenance is never on time and often makes the problem worse. The property I stayed at had so many fire safety hazards that I know you haven’t kept up on at all. When we moved in the place was filthy and was infested with bugs even after you specifically told us you cleaned and sprayed. Just an awful company to rent from. Super unprofessional and careless.

Do not rent. They will take advantage of college students and over charge the last month’s rent. The lease does not say that the last month will not be prorated, you will have to be out by the 20th but will be charged the entire month. Pat keeps repeating that they have to follow the MSU calendar, they don’t. There are plenty of places to rent, just don’t use this place.

They are ruthless. I'm an international student in MSU. They have offered me an house and paid deposit too and lease agreement. They told me the move-in date too! Now They are saying they don't have apartments. Now I'm the road. Please I request you guys read and don't rent their apartments. I'm an international student and I don't know what do to?

I currently live in one of the apartments now, and it's so bad, I've called the health inspectors twice now. There are roaches beyond belief, I now have mice, and it took the landlords two whole months to fix a leak I had in my kitchen. If any of you are looking to live in one of their properties, go somewhere else. I'm having a terrible time

ROACHES ROACHES ROACHES. Lied about having sent someone out for the roaches and could never provide proof that they sent someone out. Liars. The place was disgusting. No parking. Located in awful area. Lots of crime. Cars broken into in complex.

Don’t give proper notice before showing the house, nor do they care to be granted permission or timeframes that would work. Are awful at doing repairs and overall the people that work there are very rude. Would never rent from these people again

My profession requires frequent relocations. I've rented from many people and places over the last 20+ years. This is hands down, THE WORST RENTING EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. I would list all the issues we had, but I don't want to get myself worked up again.

Imagine a sleezy, shady used-car salesman that has the perfect sales pitch, but these are home rentals, "under warranty" (Lease) and they will bend that lease just to the point of breaking it, but they will break laws before they break that lease. And they do break laws! Just read the other reviews, sick!
Do not even consider them'!

I can’t even describe what kind of place they rented to me. Of course the price was nice, cheap and close to MSU. But what bothered me is how little they cared about our apartment and the other rooms in the building. It smelt like smoke and trash and we were told people could not smoke in the building. Then on top of that we were told we couldn’t have pets in our building what so ever, yet I had two neighbors come in with a dog and had it barking all night long and even though I told them they did nothing to prevent that from happening.
Overall the apartment was run down, old, musty. There were cockroaches in our vents coming down which was super gross!
I was lucky enough to be able to leave this place after my lease and will happily never rent from them again!

Would not recommend!
