So I made reservation before reading reviews but now after reading some I'll say this, still "under construction", still has long term residents, water pressure sucks, furniture and things broken and rigged. But staff was nice, View is amazing, heat worked good. Our bed was clean and I slept good. Also saw no sign of free breakfast.
They should take reference to Outlet mall off since mall is closed but they will be next to all the coming attractions.

Arriving at the Hawk’s Nest Lodge we walked into a lobby filled with supplies, towels, tools debris, food, materials to fix rooms from one side of the lobby to the other. It looked like a garage. While checking in with the woman owner an older lady came up to the counter on a scooter in which she interrupted us being checked in and the owner engaged with her instead of finishing checking us in first. The lady asked if she could do something that sounded like she lives there full-time. We then walked to our room in which the lady on the scooter came right behind us and come to find out she lives there full-time. She had plants in a cart right outside her room and a magnetic screen door in which we could look right into her room. It looked like an episode of hoarders. Her door was right next to our door. After entering the room, it had a musty smell. The light in the bathroom had an opening and the sheets had stains on them along with the door didn’t lock well to feel safe. The paint was peeling and mold in some of the corners of the room. The room looked like it hadn’t been touched in the 30 years. Also, another full-time resident older man was at the end of the hall starting like a creepy old man. My boyfriend turned the key back into the owner’s husband Bob and said we are not staying here. She is not staying here the way the room looks and the people staying here and the room instant acceptable. We then had to find another place to stay on a holiday weekend. We went next door to the Inn at Grand Glaize and they showed us the room first and then we booked with them. The lady that checked us in was also a full-time resident of the Hawk's Neck Lodge. She said there are a lot of full-time residents that stay there on a regular basis. He said he would accommodate us next door and we already paid but he never did.
Now the manager Bob is stating to Travelocity this stay was complete and we are unable to get our money back. This is bad business practices. And should be illegal.

Should change name to Rat's Nest. Possible mold all under sink, nasty used q-tips, carpets were wet, room wreaked of cigarette smoke, I got sick-feeling from entering the room, I still smell like smoke (it was advertised as non-smoking), room was filled with flies and gnats, there was a wash cloth stuffed around the light bulb in the bathroom ceiling, the bedroom ceiling had holes poked into the ceiling, brown rust was surrounding the bathtub/leaking water, the toilet had caulking around it separating from the floor which seemed moldy underneath. Parking lot looked like it is in disrepair.

Walked in was greeted by a very friendly manger. He apologized for the remodel going on. Explained how he's been doing his best to get this place back into shape. Our room was clean, the place was quite, everyone who stayed there was super friendly. My kids had fun swimming and fishing. Pools were nice. I look forward th seeing the changes the next time we come. Thanks again for letting us stay! We will be back

Disgustinging place. Smelled. Place looked like it was furnished via garage sales. Cut my ankles on bed frame not suited for size. Management was ridiculous and unprofessional. I hear they don’t pay their employees. It’s basically like staying in a crack house. Pool was covered with tarp. Entire building was bug infested and none of the door closed or locked properly. Better off sleeping in your car.

Initially, Bob was very kind and accommodating. However, we were informed upon arrival that there was no room available due to a sewage backup, and we were not notified of this beforehand. In response, the hotel offered us their master room. We were told that we could use the Grand Glaise Hotel's free amenities, such as the pool, hot tub, and the fireworks show because I guess they share owners or work together. We were under the impression that these amenities were connected to the Hawks Nest. However, we found out that the free breakfast was not actually free, but we were willing to pay for it. When we told the waitress, she said it was okay and don't worry about it. Later that day, Bob came to our room at 11: 00AM and demanded that we leave because we had supposedly taken advantage of the situation. Firstly, we were willing to pay for the breakfast and had been told that the amenities were included. Additionally, the food was not good, and the rooms were uncomfortable and caused my allergies to act up. Overall prior to this situation I would of gave a better review but at the end we felt that we owed this guy money and that we were criminals over cheap breakfast. Definitely a low tier establishment.

This booking was done by my wife and after I looked at the reviews, I did have some concerns. The good news was that many of my assumptions were wrong. I walked into the front desk area and saw new beds and remodeling. I called the number for the clerk and was met by the manager named Bob. While I was registering, I started a conversation with him about what was happening at this lodge. Bob told me that he was recently hired to fix things up and make sure the guests were all safe. He told me of all the security cameras on the property, how this was his house as well, and that he took his guests requests seriously. He stayed up until the wee hours of the morning to monitor the cameras stationed around the property. My room was clean and functional. Was everything perfect? No. Will it be in the near future, yes. I have no doubts that Bob and BJ will keep working to fix all the issues.

You get what you pay for but I'm not sure even these low of prices are worth it. Dirty rooms, sketchy long term tenants and dodgy staff.

Room was clean and tidy. Employees were so nice. Bed was so comfortable. It was excellent. New management. Give him a chance to turn it around.

Affordable, clean, and right on the lake. Great weekly rates, and they go out of their way to make you happy. Noor and Ashley are the best!

Searching for a place to stay for the night led me to Hawks Nest Lodge in Osage beach. I made a reservation before arrival. While checking in with Ashley, the hotel clerk, I was delighted to be given an upgraded room and after a long day it is very much appreciated. Thank you for the hospitality. C

The staff was great, rooms were run down and not very clean. The first room we had the door had been kicked in so many times the door wouldn't shut properly. The room they moved us to was next to someone that had a dog that barked all night.
