So when i normally go there it’s awesome! The staff are super friendly, but the hours… also i tried to go today (2/5/23) at 5: 30 pm (when the website they they close at 6 pm) and they were closed?

If there was a option for 0 stars they would have gotten it.every single time I come to this store, they always act as if I'm stealing. Like I spend too much time checking out each book. I love to read. I'm not gonna buy a book based on the cover. So why am I being rushed? Then all their stuff is bought from distributors none of it is local. They also don't buy anything from local people. Which is disappointing because when I asked them they were so snotty about not buying from locals so there's no support there an all their stuff comes from a factory. None of it is authentic. And they always say when buying spiritual stuff you should see how authentic your local stores are because the energy isn't the same when it all comes from a machine. They are just so snotty an ride. Act like they are better than everyone. I will be sure to pass on the word. Businesses who don't support real people making the same items they have is not my kinda store. This tells me the people who run an own the place aren't authentic either.

I'm new to buying crystal so I was extremely happy when I got home and realized that they put my crystals in individual bags with notes about them. Even the free one I got for purchasing stuff had a note about itself. Thank you for that!

Heart body as shoul is my heart body and soul, the staff is supper helpful and knowledgeable. And I can find everything I need for personal practice there.

Please educate new crystal shoppers and employees. It’s not “common knowledge” when a ring is fragile but no sign was there indicating such facts. The property card doesn’t say anything about it breaking from other peoples negative energy or that it’s fragile, the employee that sold it to me didn’t give a warning either, then I come back in trying to exchange the broken ring and was told I could do so with a receipt which was told to me by yet another employee, then when I had to buy another ring, I asked if I could exchange this time since I’ll be keeping my receipt if it breaks since I have now been educated and they don’t do returns at all for these rings, which was told to me by another employee. So it’s important to be clear with customers and employees to ensure that they can enjoy quality products that are already the highest price in Columbia.xoxo

As I walked in the store, I felt tension. When one employee asked my friend if she needed anything, and the way the young lady checked me out, I felt a very negative energy. I bought my one item and will not go back. Thank u for the negative energy, will not do business there.

Excellent store, wonderful staff and great products, I shall be a new regular customer. I look forward to purchasing more products and books here.

HBS is always a wonderful place to stop in! The staff are friendly and helpful and always willing to answer questions and chat. Whenever you are in the mood for something unique, beautiful or intriguing this should be your first stop in Columbia!

Great Rock selection, good hours, nice events. Only issues had were getting stuff ordered and getting supplies back in regularly. There's a few of the staff that feel like they talk down to you if you ask too many questions, which makes it hit or miss. I use Aardvarx downtown if jewelry is needed, because of the supply issue. But if you are new to the area, it is a nice shop.

The were very welcoming and helpful. The space is gorgeous and spacious. They had great selection and lots of crystals.

I love this establishment. I’m always treated kindly and enjoy there vast selection. I mainly visit to purchase herbs, incense, candles and sometimes books. The only thing I’ll say that doesn’t have me visiting as often as I’d like is the cats. I’m highly allergic to cats and when I see pictures posted of cats laying all over the retail it bothers me. I won’t ever buy anything fabric from here for fear of bringing high amounts of dander in my house, crystals can easily be cleaned but still… I try not to spend more than 5min in this establishment to avoid hives and an asthmatic attack.

I love this store! The atmosphere is so calming and welcoming, the staff are absolutely wonderful and they have an amazing array of things to buy! I bought a necklace and she even cleansed it for me. We will definitely be recurrent customers!

Wow! A metaphysical shop requiring masks when I can go to any restaurant now and not be required to wear one. Come on folks you might want to reevaluate what the word metaphysics even means.

A little expensive, but worth it. I particularly like buying books and tarot decks at this store.

Great place! No judgement from the ladies in fact had a great time just having a chat about the beauty of stones, I'm a minor rock hound so pretty stones draw my eye. Quiet too. I like stores that are quieter, so anyone with hearing sensitivity can shop in comfort. Plus I got a free stone for spending more then $5. Each stone I bought came with a little card so I could show my coworkers my stones! Defiantly going back to buy more stones and crystals. So professional too! Some lady came in just looking to start a fight and disrupt this quiet shop and they took care of it faster then anyone I've seen. Crazy lady left mad cause she wasn't allowed to make a scene.

Been going here since it opened, nice store. Things have changed in the past couple years though, not sure what happened. Customer service is hit or miss now. Some staff are helpful and nice, others are outright rude and condescending.

Absolutely loved it! Great selection of stones and crystals as well as everything else. I literally found every single thing I came in looking for which I wasn't expecting. Staff is so helpful and the entire store is just beautiful. Definitely will be my go to shop from now on.
