This place is horrible the ladies at hbd bar are rude and literally talk negative about customers in front of other customers the lady had dark hair and she was only nice to white folks lied to me and told me that didn’t have the drink I wanted when it was on the menu didn’t even ask to help I had to flag her to get her attention do not support these people!

Hannah Z was the best bartender ever. Best service and even better food. Best Blackened Salmon salad I have ever had. Will come back again. Must try

Got food poisoning from the grilled cheese brisket which conveniently hit during my best friends wedding. The staff was great. But I would not eat here.

Sandwich was a grease-fest. Bartender loaded my glass with ice poured a small amount of the margarita from the shaker into it. She then took the shaker and a plastic cup to the back room. Can’t make that up. Never again

A friend went to order the grilled veggie panini and was told honestly by the waitress (which we appreciated!) that "she probably wouldn't like it because they were out of the vegetables they used so they were substituting it with green beans. " Since green beans on a panini is absurd she elected to get a kids grilled cheese. A lot of the items on the menu outside were not included on the menu provided to us. When I asked if the "sweet potato curry" was available to order the waitress said that "yes they could make that. " You can imagine my surprise when our food arrived and it wasn't sweet potatoes in the curry but you guessed it…green beans! Why would they assume that substitution was okay and not notify us? I should've sent it back but didn't really have lots of options to choose from (I'm a vegetarian). My friend's grilled cheese had about one slice of cheese on it. The flavor of my curry wasn't bad, but that was the most money I've paid for canned green beans, rice, and curry sauce in my life ($15). Should've skipped this one, but hey, at least the Smoothie King next door was good!

I lied…so I said I’d skip this one in the future (below in 1st review), but I tried it again a week later. There were more staff, but this place is horribly run. No milk or cream for coffee, no mushrooms, no tomatoes, no cheese, out of most things…orange juice tasted disgusting. I just got up and walked out. They won’t be in business long. You hear it as other tables order too…we don’t have that, we’re out of that, I can bring you this…sorry we can’t wait any longer we have to catch a flight. Very bad.

First review: The one and only waitress was great! The restaurant is poorly run. Out of so many things and understaffed. The one and only waitress was handling it very well, but what a position to be put in. I’ll skip this place in the future.

Sorry. Food was average at best. The draft beer is very expensive. But the service was really bad, in just about every way. Skip this place and pick one of the many other options here in the #MCI Airport

Watched the male bartender with short hair serve alcohol to minors. Didn’t check anyones ID and charged me for a drink I didn’t ask for. When I asked about it he got defensive and tried to justify it and wouldn’t make any eye contact with me in a way that leads me to think he did it on purpose to add drinks to the bill. Don’t go here if there’s a male behind the bar he will try to charge you for things things you did not order.

Love the new airport, but not this eatery. Service was average at best. Server didn’t seem like she wanted to be there. Had no clue about their wines. Tuna appetizer was overcooked and just fair quality. For $21, an appetizer should be damn good. Wedge salad was decent.

Came in for a quick bite before an early flight. The server asked, "what can I get ya? " as she presented the menu, then stood over me as I quickly scanned and ordered.
Behind the bar she called someone else over to make my drink because she didn't know the recipe. It was one of their four signature drinks.
The food was average airport fare and speed of delivery was great. I hope they'll grow into themselves because this airport is beautiful. Let's top it of with KC customer service.

Food was mediocre even for airport quick production meals. Service was poor. The kid at the host station acted annoyed that I was looking for a seat. While talking to me, he was actively scrolling through tiktoks on his phone with an earpod in. The whole meal as a solo dinner (one course and one beer) took over an hour. Beer and food came at a normal pace for an airport restaurant, but I couldn't for the life of me, flag down my server to pay. Took well over 20 mins and me walking to the bar to finally be able to pay.

Amazing customer service, poutine burnt ends is a solid must! Whatta memorable meal for my first time in this city

Food wasn't as good as it looked. I received my Mac and cheese still cold which let know it wasn't made fresh.

Service good and so was the price. I give it 4 stars for airport food. Wedge was better than chicken sandwich.

Best food I’ve had in an airport. Lollipop chicken were crispy, juicy and flavorful. Wedge salad was fresh and delicious. Kind staff didn’t steer me wrong with food recommendations.

Had a hard time today getting lettuce and tomatoes for my cheeseburger. Didn't mean to be a bother, but when I asked for some, they said they had no lettuce and referenced supply chain issues.

The guy sitting next to me had an iceberg wedge salad. One star for fibbing about the situation. The coverup is worse than the crime. (I didn't taste it or make a big deal of it, and had already covered the bill and tipped, but I politely left after losing trust.)

The new airport is fantastic. Stopped in here because it was next to my gate. Small menu. I had the chicken lollipops. Surprisingly good. Not what I expected for airport food.

The staff was incredibly kind and quick with their service but the dressing on my wedge salad was basically just straight mayonnaise. I will try something else next time.
