Heritage Museum reviews
10Went for the historical revolutionary tea party event. Great place. A little overwhelmed with the turnout.
Amazing staff and exhibits. The Revolutionary War of the West exhibit is one of the best I have ever seen. Even before that was part of the museum, they always had something eclectic that leaves you thinking and going Wow!
The only thing better than the costumed mannequins, artwork, and artifacts of the Revolutionary War was having Drew answer all of my questions and share his excitement for history. I could have listened to Drew for hours!
It is a great place to see the history of the American Revolution in the West. The top floor they had the war of 1812 well maintained beautiful displays, a wonderful place to visit.
Excellent exhibit currently on display there called “The American Revolutionary War in the West”. Who knew that so much happened here in STL related to the revolutionary war.
Every exhibit I have seen rotate through the St. Charles Heritage Museum has been amazing. They have really done a spectacular job with the Revolutionary War of the West. This exhibit is better than most permanent exhibits I have seen in museums that focus on the Revolution. It shows sides that most people do not know, from all perspectives.
Visited for a second viewing of the exhibit of the American Revolutionary War in the West. The other exhibits such as the War of 1812 are good too. Will probably return to see them again.
Enjoying the local history books too.
Remember the donation box at the front desk.
There is an adjacent trailhead for those wanting to exercise both the body and the mind.
Nice free museum - enjoyed the American Revolution exhibit - got through the entire museum in about an hour
Very authentic and informative. A lot of research has gone into This museum. So much history to know
