We used the facility when my Father In Law passed. I have nothing but the highest praise! They were kind and courteous. They were available to answer all of our questions at any time. They were helpful in planning and managing the service quickly and in a most organized manner. They went above and beyond, even meeting us at the cemetery to discuss burial. John and his team were excellent from start to finish on the process. Their trauma informed attitude towards us and all of our guests was phenomenal. It was also cost effective and their website is very clear. It makes it easy to see exactly what is included and there were no surprises.

The facility was immaculate inside and out. The driver who arrived to collect our mother was very prompt and courteous. He was very compassionate to our family. When we arrived to Hidden Valley Funeral Home to discuss arrangements, John Miles was very compassionate and easy to talk with. He clearly showed his experience in providing clear and easy to understand information in a caring manner to an elderly person who just lost a lifetime spouse. I was dreading this part of dealing with my mother’s passing, but making arrangements with Hidden Valley was very easy and they had many affordable options for all budgets.

I lost my mother 2 months ago. I was really dreading the whole funeral arrangement process. John was amazing! He was like having a family member help us through the process. He was so personable and kind and caring. I couldn't have asked for a better experience in such a horrible situation. I have also been in contact with him numerous times since for other needs like getting a headstone designed and ordered. Also my dearest friend lost her daughter recently and John has been very helpful in answering some questions she had as well as taking care of dividing her daughter's ashes (for burial and spreading) at no expense. He is there at the drop of a hat to help, answer questions and just talk like we've been friends forever! He was the exact person I needed to help me through my grieving process and make my mother's funeral process as pleasant as possible. I can't thank him enough!

Hidden Valley Funeral Home of Liberty, Missouri made our experience of burying our mother simple and relaxed. From the day we walked into the funeral home to the closing of the casket we were treated with respect. John was so understanding and showed empathy the entire time. Of our needs were met. We went back to the gravesite a few days later and there were flowers laying at her grave. That just shows that even behind the scene they care. Just made the experience even more personal. I am at peace knowing that everything worked out just as it should have and all of our needs were met. I cannot thank Hidden Valley for helping us through the loss of our Sweet sister/daughter. They went above and beyond to help us give her a beautiful service. Payton and John are so sweet and caring and helped us so much. They mean so much to us and made us feel so welcoming and comforted. We love them! I would recommend them 1000%!

Hidden Valley handled my fathers cremation and funeral in Feb 2019. Working with John we experienced a wonderful and caring staff with a high degree of professionalism. We greatly appreciated their caring and expertise at such a stressful time.
John then went on to work with my mom taking care of all of her pre-needs. He really spent quite some period of time with her. He has always been available, professional and caring. My mother passed away recently, having all of her arrangements taken care of was a huge blessing.

We just buried my mother today. John and Hidden Valley Funeral Home staff in Kearney were the best, they took such good care of Mom, her family, and all the details that would have overwhelmed us if we would have had to deal with everything ourselves. Everyone was so kind and professional, from my very first call to the final handshake. Because Mom was to be buried at Leavenworth Nat'l Cemetery, the arrangements were a little more complicated that usual. And the Virus added to it. The funeral was on Tuesday, burial today, Wednesday. But John handled that curveball with poise, class, absolute thoughtfulness and care. I couldn't have asked for more. They took care of Mom from just after her death at my home all the way up to the burial. She was beautiful. And every need was anticipated before we even knew we had a need. The Chaplain wasn't available for the Wednesday graveside service, so Jay, their resident minister, wonderful man, stepped in seamlessly and performed a lovely service for her. God has placed John exactly where he should be - taking care of people in our time of need. I will recommend Hidden Valley Funeral Home to everyone.

They did a wonderful job taking care of my father, and worked with me on the expenses. They have the best wonderful genuine staff. Thank you tim and tina for everything. I couldnt have done this without the support of you guys and my family.
