This coffee shop is such a cool little place to grab a great coffee or tea with an excellent selection of bites. It's lively but not loud so the perfect place to meet up with some friends and hang out or simply get some work done! A real gem just around the corner from Grand Center.

Wow! Amazing! I stumbled upon this cool and cozy spot while waiting for a show at the Fab Fox. The walls are lined with books to read. The music is light and contemporary. The vibe is so chill. A+ Great pumpkin bread and coffee too! Xoxo

I guess I can consider myself as a High Low regular now, given my visits almost every weekend. It's perched perfectly at the intersection, and has beautiful sunlight streaming in, with just the right variety of beverage options, enough to have you try new things each week, but not too many to overwhelm someone. Their freshly baked breads are also equally good complements to their brews.

I love this place! The coffee and tea is really good, and they have some small premade food items. I’d recommend any of the herbal teas, their chai with caramel, and whatever specialty drink they have because it’s always good.

Of the food, the sausage pepper and egg biscuit is my favorite. It has this excellent savory balance with the tomato chutney and biscuit. To me it’s their central food item because of the small menu and reliable quality. But I don’t think their overnights oats are very good though tbh. They’re soaked in too much liquid and the bananas are mush.

Also, all of the baristas are super sweet. If you keep going there, they try and learn your name which is really nice.

Lastly, the environment is super nice. They have many books to look at while you’re here and an art gallery in the back that always has vibrant work.

I personally wanted to love this place and was disappointed with our trip. The man behind the counter taking our order made me feel like a nuisance being there and not knowing immediately what we wanted. Ultimately, that is the main reason for the three stars. I immediately didn’t feel very comfortable and didn’t want to stay long. Our barista however was incredibly friendly, which was nice. The iced coffee was decent, I could’ve had it a bit sweeter with a tad bit more flavor. The carrot cake was very good with great spice flavor. Overall, will possibly give another try in the future to see if it was a one off. The building is aesthetically pleasing, bright, and modern feeling.

For the love of Pete, get sugar-free syrups! Get a single sugar-free syrup. Why can coffeeshops have sixteen kinds of milk and not provide for the many folks seeking lower sugar intake, for medical or other reasons?

And that giant empty listening room you have? Could provide extra seating, since there's not enough inside or out.

Okay, gripes are out. Very good biscuit. My dining companion enjoyed his food, as well. Outside chairs are reasonably comfortable for fat people (thank you). The gallery was neat, if strange and out of context.

Prices were.okay? Except it's silly for me to go to a coffeeshop for a plain steeped tea because they don't carry sugar-free syrups.

Very cool space to work a d drink coffee! It’s an extension of the Kranzberg Art Foundation making it a great place to support. The coffee is great and there is plenty of room to get work done if you like working in coffee shops. Check this place out asap for your next cup of Joe!

Love the literary vibe here! Thank you for the refreshing cold tea, cortado, and scone, which rejuvenated my mind for more art explorations in the neighbourhood.

The added bonus was seeing an art exhibition onsite. Wonderful to see support of local artists!

We really love High Low. It’s an excellent place to get some work done, while enjoying a fresh pour over and a scone. The atmosphere is bright and relaxed, which makes it perfect to read or work if you’re needing to get out of the house. Parking is usually great, and I often can get a spot right by the entrance. The art gallery in the back is a really unique part of High Low’s experience. It’s part of to Kransberg Arts Foundation and it’s a free exhibit hall with rotating work from local artists. It makes for a really cool place to visit or to make part of your weekly routine.

Friendly and highly knowledgeable staff, offering in-depth tasting notes and explanations of the different beans/roasts.welcoming, laid back ambience with a plethora of seating options.

The highlight for us were the pastries though, as Lindsey is a phenomenally talented baker who is quite modest to boot! The blueberry lavender and rosemary goat cheese scones are easily among the best we've ever tried. The flavors are rich, natural tasting, yet also proportioned in harmonious balance. A must stop anytime we're in STL from now on.

If you want coffee AND an experience, come to High Low. It has one of the calmest, serene decors of all coffee houses in STL. Its theme centers around literature, full of bookshelves and comfy couches to read. It’s not overly loud of a setting, so if you want to do work without headphone, this is the place. Because of its design, I believe it attracts an artsier crowd who wants to read or discuss. I regularly have business meetings here unrelated to art and literature because I know I’m not surrounded by pretentious finance bros or fraternity brothers.

The coffee is pretty standard, but I can’t say much on it because my order is always bland: Hot, black coffee.

Highly recommend making this a coffee staple of yours, you’ll always leave feeling better than when you walked in.

Coffee was absolutely disgusting. Very acidic, tastes like vinegar. Aesthetic was calm & peaceful though.

Cool spot for a coffee or bite to eat. They have a nice selection of specialty roasts and the house made orange cardamom flavor was on point. They have a nice selection of sweet treats too. There are plenty of desks if you need space to work. The staff was very nice and even brought me my drink after I went to sit down.

High Low was recommended by our Airbnb host as it was within walking distance of our place and had quality coffee! Can confirm, we had kind service and lovely espresso. I had chose the cortado with oat milk and house-made vanilla syrup
Seating was at a premium on a Wednesday at 11am, many remote workers/students, but also pairs of people chatting, but a few spots opened up while we sat.
I tried to check ahead of time if food was served, and assumed it would just be a small pastry case, so we were pleasantly surprised to see a small food menu + pastries. Recommend!

I absolutely love blueprint coffee and this setting makes it even better! The employees at the high low blueprint are the coolest ever! I work in the building so I see them all the time and they’re always so friendly and accommodating and knowledgeable. I’ve been to many blueprints and I think this is the best one, the vibes are great and the coffee is immaculate!
