Highway Cafe reviews
11Our family loves the biscuits and gravy. We can feed our family of four with 2 whole orders. It is all so delicious. The staff is always wonderful. I highly recommend it. We have never had a bad meal here.
We accidentally found this restaurant one Saturday morning on our way to the Lake. What a wonderful experience! It was crowded, so "Bill" invited us to sit with him. I asked Bill about the sausage. He was right! The best sausage I ever had! We will definitely stop there again!
This was a great little place. Right on the highway and easy to park a trailer at. It was VERY busy while we were there. Even so, the service was prompt and courteous. The food was good, basic diner breakfast. And the price was reasonable. I would definitely recommend.
There is a reason that you have to wait for a table, because everyone knows how great a Cafe it is.
Always great food. Favorite omelet is the Philly Cheesesteak. Excellent service everytime we have been.
They were getting ready for renovations, so no atmosphere really just yet. But great people and great food
First time for me, but my dad stops in often after church. Very quaint mom & pop diner. Great coffee! We ordered their tasty hot open-faced roast beef sandwiches with green beans for $6.95. The first appearance of food was above average. (Sorry, no photo) The hot roast beef sandwiches had lots of tender roast beef, cooked to perfection & had great flavor with creamy mashed potatoes and smooth beef gravy. Gravy was a tad salty & could have been heated up a tad more. Green beans were under seasoned with bacon & onions. They could have cooked longer with more of each bacon & onion along with salt, fresh cracked pepper, tad of sugar, cilantro, and bacon grease to enhance the country style food & flavor. I would return again, but in hopes of enhanced flavors & food temperatures
This place is great! The food is amazing and the price is low. The staff is one of a kind and there's always a raffle or something going on.
Stopped in for the first time today for breakfast. We loved the food and the service was amazing. Those ladies were on top of it! The food was fast and fresh and our coffee cups were never cold or empty definitely a place we will eat again!
5 stars across the board for our little family! We try to go at least every week or so for breakfast.
I had the open faced turkey sandwich. No flavor at all. The potatoes were really cold. The whole meal was cool, temperature wise. The service was good. Very friendly. Not a fan of there food. Sorry
