Hillcrest Thrift Shop- Platte City reviews
12This thrift store was bigger than I expected. The store was layed out nicely and very organized. A good mix of older and newer clothing items. Decently priced. I forgot to ask about military discount. I'll ask for sure next time I'm back.

IF EVERYTHING IS DONTATED HOW IN THE HECK ARE YOU GOING TO BE MAD WHEN I SEE DAMAGE ON A PRODUCT AND ASK FOR A LOWER PRICE
THEY DONT HELP ANY HOMELESS THEY ARE FOR PROFIT.
This place is awesome. They have a great selection of clothes and an awesome vintage section.
Favorite thrift store. We shop all of their stores. They are always well organized and reasonable prices. Hillcrest is a good program to support.
Hillcrest takes thrifting to new levels with it's organization and decorating. They have great prices and sales; I find something on every trip inside! Hillcrest has a unique way of giving a helping hand to those in need. Stop by and check it out.
This store is the most organized store EVER, with
Very fair prices and very friendly staff
The staff in Platte city is AMAZING! When I bought a huge desk there recently for an incredible price I had no idea how I was going to get it home cuz my friend with a truck was in a car accident. When I told the assistant manager of my dilemma she immediately had her staff deconstruct it for me and they got it all loaded in my lift back car for me! They went above and beyond and I so appreciate it! Loving my new desk and love shopping here!
Great place! Clean, organized, very reasonably priced on most stuff. Great place to check out and they have a reward perk as well.
We LOVED it. I got some incredible bargains on brand name clothes - some still had tags on them. It's well kept & staff is very friendly and helpful.
This is my favorite secondhand store for picking up home decor items, furniture, kitchen items and little treasures.
Just like everywhere the prices have gone up recently.
The most frustrating thing about Hillcrest is the inconsistency of the pricing. The prices are determined by the volunteers and they have numerous volunteers. Some volunteers price things fairly and others are clueless. That being said, all but one of the volunteers are very polite. Try to avoid the older lady with the brunette 50s bouffant hair style.
Volunteering can be stressful and if your heart isn’t in it you really should stay home.
The lady in the morning time wasn't really polite she told me I couldn't donate my chair because it was missing one wheel it was a really nice computer chair not only that I said I wasn't going to reload it into my car again she said well I'm not throwing it away and I can't sell it customers are always right regardless second you should make your customers happy so they would want to come in there and spend their money on things right or wrong if I don't want to reload my chair and I'm going to throw it away then you should be polite and throw the chair away if you don't want to sell it. I won't go back to the store again for the simple fact she was rude
