Dr. Wegener and his staff are very kind and patient. They take the time to explain and listen to questions. I highly recommend them.

I'd give 6 stars if I could. Dr. Wegener is seriously one of the best doctors I've ever had. He was very knowledgeable and really patient with all my questions. I never felt rushed at all. They have a great selection of glasses to choose from as well. I'm happy I decided to give them a shot!

Kind staff and doctor. They texted me to come in for an eye emergency right when they opened and saw me immediately. I was in and out in under a half hour. Excellent staff and a very compassionate and knowledgeable doctor!

Dr Wegener has a wonderful chair side manner! He is excellent at explaining your eye health in laypersons terms. He even takes the time to help you select frames. I’ve never had the Dr help me select frames before. Best eye Dr experience in my 35 yrs of wearing glasses!

Everyone in the office is very kind and helpful. Dr Wegener always takes the time to explain everything to me.

The advanced equipment they use makes it so that they rarely have to dilate my eyes. When he did have to, only one eye needed it and the doc was able to diagnose a tiny cataract only 1mm x 0.5 on my eye.

I felt very welcomed when I first arrived and in just a few my appointment began. I have dry eyes and would really love to wear contacts. Dr Wegener did a thorough exam of my eyes and explained everything very well. He’s a great teacher! I saw Dr. Richards for years (since 1999) and when I met Dr. Wegener, I knew he was the right doctor to take the practice forward. His use of high end technology allows both he and me to see deep into my eyes to examine parts I never new I had. Today we looked at oil glands under my eye lids and determined I have a slight allergy.

And even though he has cool gadgets to take pictures and scan eyes, it doesn't mean he relies solely on those to diagnose. He knows his discipline well, and talks to me in a way that I can understand what is happening with my eyes as I age.

He even came out to the glasses showroom and worked with me one on one to pick out frames (and I'm a difficult one to pick for).

Dr. Alan Wegener is great and would strongly recommend his practice if you are looking for a new optometrist.

I drove almost an hour across KC to see Dr. Wegener because I have a challenging prescription and I’d heard from family that he does great work. I got the most thorough and careful eye exam I have ever gotten in almost 40 years of wearing glasses. The support staff were also super helpful and patient. Looking forward to visiting again!

Excellent. Have been to at least 3-4 other optometrists, won't be switching again. Dr. Wegener is patient, evidence-based, and clearly a competent clinician. Our entire family goes here. We are all very pleased.

Great Dr. Appointment was on time. Asked questions about my sore eye from a few months ago. Eye looked good. Vision tested and that was good also. Keep my glasses for now. Allen is very personable and keeps you relaxed during exam. Will recommend.

He opened on a holiday just to help me. Very caring and professional. Im forever grateful.
