Hilltown Dental, Chesterfield MO

I have been coming to this office since I was in elementary school and I’m in my 30’s now and I can’t express enough how awesome this office is, between the doctors and staff, everyone is so incredible and kind! I usually have Kaitlyn as my dental hygienist and she is so sweet and so gentle! I had my first filling today and it went better than I could have ever imagined and I kid you not, one of the drills Dr Carissa Bruening used sounded like high pitched music notes, it was great and we laughed! I would HIGHLY recommend this office to everyone!

Hilltown by far is the best place to go. They take care of you, and make you comfortable. I don’t get nervous when it comes to the dentist, I actually like going, which is an unpopular opinion from most, but, I’ve never been more calm and taken care of by any other team. I got two cavity fillings today and Dr. Carissa has a magic touch when it comes to making the numbing shots almost painless. She talked me through it and before I knew it I was numb and the pre shot nerves were gone.
Also, they have TV’s that you can watch now with headphones while Dr. Carissa does her artwork. It definitely made time pass by quicker.
Overall, every time I go to Hilltown, I know I’ll be taken care of.

First of all, Judy is the best. She helped me get an emergency visit set up very quickly and called a couple times to check up before I was able to get in. I met both Dr. Andrew and Dr. Carissa during my visit. They were both very transparent on what was going to be done so there were no surprises. Everyone I interacted with at this office was extremely professional and friendly. The best dental experience I've had.

I wished, I met with these team of professionals before.

A co-worker of mine, highly recommended them. I am so happy I listened to his recommended. I feel right at home here. Dr. Andrew and his team are top notch amazing! They took the time to listen to my needs. My first visit I got a full set of x-rays and scheduled a follow up to complete some work that was needed. I was informed that Dr. Andrew studied my x-rays after I left my first visit to have more of a game plan for my smile. I am absolutely thrilled with everyone there and plan for my smile! I had a tooth extraction today that I was not excited about (who would be). Drs. Andrew and Carissa took the time before to tell me exactly what was going to happen. They even asked if I wanted them to walk me through it as it was going on or just knock it out and let me know when finished, I chose option B. It was pain free and 10x the experience I ever could have imagined. I even asked at one point if my tooth was out, it had been out for awhile! Again, I can’t recommend this place and these two doctors enough! Everyone there from Chris, at the receptionist desk to my favorite dental hygienist, Kaitlyn Newton are unbelievable! Dr Andrew, Sheryl (Cheryl?), and Chris made my entire first experience rather enjoyable. They’re all friendly and upbeat. They made me feel comfortable from the time I walked in. Truly enjoyed the way Sheryl kept me company while waiting on the doctor. They’ve got a new patient in me and my kids.

I've been trying to get an appointment for almost a week (spent all this time giving them the info needed) and then been denied one because I had traveled by plane (there was a spot on the 13th day of my return, but no I have to wait for the "14 days")
now they are just not responding my emails.

Beware Dr. Andrew! Once you have experienced being his patient, your life will be forever changed. I went to him in his former life at another practice. I fell off the wagon for a few years and let my dental care lapse. When I was finally ready to go back, I was so saddened to learn he and Dr. Carissa were no longer there. After tracking them down on Google, I was so excited to see they had found a new home that, based on the reviews, is clearly a marriage made in heaven for everyone involved. Congrats to you both! I always liked Carissa, too, but Dr. Andrew always treated me.

But sadly for me, the new location is too far away to be practical (almost three times the Uber $$$ for this non-driver!). And even sadder, little did I know that he spoiled me so bad and set the bar so darn high for all-around quality dental care and bedside manner and making a dental visit seem like a Disney ride that no one else can come remotely close, and after each visit, I find myself craving my Dr. Andrew fix!

I'm now at a point where I am having serious conversations with myself: Do I want a "not terrible but just okay" experience for my dental care, for reasonable transportation costs? The Budget Police in me says yes to that. Or do I want an adventure that is not only the highest quality and competency, but so fun and almost magical that I look forward to going and feel like a kid again (at 66) - for a much higher transportation cost? The YOLO side of me says yes, yes, yes to this option, costs be damned! Maybe I just need to move to Chesterfield LOL. Still deciding, but I think I already know how this debate is going to end.:)

How lucky for the Chesterfield residents to be blessed with such a great option for dental care! You can't go wrong with this choice. I heart the Bruenings!
