Very good selections, have records, CDs and cassette tapes. It can be a little cramped in spots and prices seemed higher then some places I have been but had what we were looking for.

This place is a hidden gem! I found some awesome treasures there for the next generation of music Fanatics to enjoy. And the staff was so helpful and knowledgeable!

LARGE, WIDE VARIETY of all genres of music on Vinyl. Also CD's, cassettes and equipment. Laid-back atmosphere but very helpful and knowledgeable staff if you need assistance.

Amazing place! If you're missing something from your collection they probably have it. Make sure to check the upstairs too!

Soooo much vinyl and such a WIDE range of genres. If you don't see something you want, they can probably help you find something, or order it.

This was the first good experience I've had at this record store, but it was worth noting. Customer service was top notch for a change, their selection was fantastic with plenty of variety. Prices were a couple bucks more here and there but comparable. Not to mention they're a small local joint so they have to pay the bills somehow. In the past whenever I've gone to this shop, I couldn't wait to get out. This time around I actually felt like my patronage was welcome. Staff were on the ball, friendly, helpful, and we got to talk about some old-school 80's metal as well. I'll keep coming back in the future if the service continues to be like this. Thanks guys!

This was a great place to pick up knick-knacks and other unique gifts. If you're tired of paying the inflated prices of the stores around downtown, then this is a good place to check out. I'm a guy and I don't do a lot of "shopping", but I needed a gift for my girlfriend and this store came through!

Hitt Rex is an awesome store run by some great dudes. The store has a great inventory, and Taylor and Kyle are incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. They take care of their inventory, and being able to trust that you’re buying what you expect in terms of quality for used records is so important.

I bought a pricey used record at a different local store, the first time I’d bought something from that store, and went home to play it, only to find that they hadn’t cleaned it and it didn’t sound anywhere close to what I expected. It was clear the other store hadn’t play-tested the record before slapping a $40 price tag on it. I visited my friends at Hitt Rex and explained what happened, and Taylor was more than happy to run it through his ultrasonic cleaner for me, which salvaged the record. I already frequent Hitt Rex, but it’s things like this that make me happy to spend my money there instead of other stores.

Worker was arrogant. Wanted to charge me $$$ for a reel tape that I could buy elsewhere for cheaper. First they told me the reel tapes weren't for sale. I collect them and I was interested. Parking is also terrible. I won't be going back any time soon.

2 years ago I bought a Christmas record box. This box of over 100 records from KCOU is so good. Every album is a banger. Thank you for these hours of 1991 KCOU.

I’ve lived in Europe and in different parts of the US and have been to hundreds of records stores all over the world. This is hands down THE BEST store in the world. It is a gem of CoMo. I’ve been going to Hitt Records for almost 10 years and I always walk out with something. They have great rolling new arrivals and a huge selection of all kinds of music. Rarities on the wall are always changing and prices are very fair. Also a great selection of audio equipment upstairs. Employees know their stuff and are super helpful, too. Literally the best record store around!

Actually the best record store I've ever been to. The metal section is absolutely ridiculous - best I've seen under one roof!
