Ho Wah Chinese Restaurant, Farmington MO

They make egg rolls right. The rest of the food is good as well. The building itself is a bit cramped, but fast friendly service and clean tables.

Back when the old owners used to own the place the food was amazing now that they retired and gave it to somone else it has gone down hill my sister used to work there but doesn't anymore and hell she doesn't even recommend it anymore now the place is ran by teens who don't know about what they are doing or how to properly cook Chinese food I ordered low mein and there were 2 different types of noodles in the bowl and they don't tell you when they change there ingredients so when you buy food there expceting something delicious you get something that has changed and u dont like just didn't taste right I really want to see this place get better again so I can enjoy the good Ole food I had as a kid but they first have to train people om how to actually care and cook food right i wish ho wah good luck and the people there as well hopefully this is some good constructive criticism

I don't care for the atmosphere, but I think that's a personal opinion of mine. Lo mein noodles were so dry that it was disappointing, and I'm not a picky person. The only good thing was that I was there with my family and the waitress was great.
The Chinese buffets are closed on Mondays or we would've never gone to Ho Wah. Good crab ragoons.

Service was fine, I went an hour before closing and it took about 20 minutes for my food to be ready, it was a takeout order so I brought it home, the chicken was much smaller than the breading surrounding it, and a couple of the chicken pieces were bitter, tasting like the dough/"crispy" breading was not fully done. It made an okay meal a poor experience. The crab Rangoon are also not amazing.

I just tried to order there they still have over a half an hour and wouldn't take a delivery order

4 orders of hot braised chicken, all were tough as leather, not edible.

Food was good but I had to wait an additional 30 minutes, after calling it in and waiting 30 minutes to go pick it up. They did have a sign up saying they're short staffed but an hour wait seemed like a bit much. I tipped the hostess $8 and then she didn't even apologize for my wait. I called in my order and went inside to pick up due to the drive-thru like being 7 cars deep.

I swear the workers here have an IQ of at least 25 Every time we get a to go order they say 20-25 mins and when we show up 45 minutes later they make us wait another 10-15 mins or pull to the side to wait and someone brings the food out… also another thing is when you call to make a order place it under your name they still ask you what you did order? Like write the order down and the name and you would know what we ordered! But food is good overall

Placed an order four hours early, still a ten minute wait. Then get home and even tho I place the same order time after time. They screwed up not one but two plates, and appetizers. Then when I called said they could fix it if I paid more money. Screw Ho wah, they’re goin downhill

The waitress was very sweet, but the food was terrible. I ordered the Kung pow chicken, and it wasn’t even made with chilies. It was extremely salty and there was no spice whatsoever. When I told the waitress that I think they forgot the chilies. She offered me red pepper powder packets to add to it. I tried to like it but I really feel like it was a waste of money. My daughter got fried rice. She said it was salty and didn’t care for it either.

Are these people crazy. Or just plain inhumane? I got pepper steak. Their are 4 small pieces of pepper steak. And a small portion of rice. For 11 dollars for each plate? Are y'all going insane? I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO GO HERE. THIS IS PLAIN CRAZYYYYYY OMG. HOW DO YOU GUYS SLEEP AT NIGHT. THAT IS PLAIN ROBBERY. SOMETHING HAS TO BE DONE. I WILL BE REPORTING THIS PLACE.

Front girl did not advise me that meals come with egg roll and two wontons when I ordered two egg rolls that I didn’t need. Got four spending money I don’t have to waste. Worst part was sweet and sour chicken was completely unable to be eaten. Lots of batter that did not taste good and almost no chicken. What little chicken was stringy and hard as a rock. Threw whole meal away. Could not eat any of it. Horrible food. Don’t waste your money.

Moo goo Gia pan delightful. Crab Rangoon. Just cream cheese. Fried rice very bland basic. Order girl quick and easy.

Terrible experience waited twice as long as it should have taken bc they gave my order to someone else then after the other people brought it back after we had already been waiting then tried to not even mention it and played stupid and rude never even making an attempt at rectifying it

The chicken doesn't taste like chicken. The rice was hard. The crab ragoon were hard and distasteful. I miss Stl's Chinese.
