Hodge Park Playground reviews
7Extremely beautiful place for a family outing, restrooms were clean and easy accessible picnic area is immaculate and all the others families were sociable and friendly. It can be loud and overwhelming when the park is full but what you expect kids are playing and having fun.
The playground was a lot of fun and had inclusive options. However the only bathroom facility was a portapotty that was in an absolutely unacceptable condition so we had to leave early for a bathroom for my toddler.
This playground is great. There is lots of space to spread out and lots of things to climb on. The turf is nice, but I could imagine it gets hot on warm sunny days. There are some shaded spots. The only change I would make would be to add more items for babies/toddlers. There wasn’t much my daughter could do safely. Even the swing area didn’t include an infant swing.
The place is wonderful especially for convenient walks with the doggo. BUT, if you are down at the lower fields allowing your dog to run make sure it has tick medicine. My dog came home covered May 13th 2023, and I mean 20-30 that I picked off. They need to spray or even cut the grass because it is a breeding grounds right now. Most of our other visits were fall and winter last year (she's only 1) but man what a nuisance.
Just found this place and the kids had a blast. A real hang out and busy but there's plenty for all.
Great park with artificial grass. Clean and safe. Walk the dog along the river. Open fields for Frisbee, kickball etc.
Can be crowded but otherwise great place. (Which is attested by the crowds). The playground and nearby walking paths seem to be well maintained. Kids love going.
