Hoff Heating & AC, O'Fallon MO

Our air conditioner stopped working, so I called Hoff Heating and AC expecting to wait at least a couple of days for service. The technician came out a few hours after I called, diagnosed the problem immediately, and made the repair shortly thereafter. The technician, Larry, had the parts necessary to make the repair and our AC was up and running in no time. Hoff will be my go-to HVAC company in the future, and I highly recommend them to anyone needing heating and AC service.

On Friday July 15th I awoke to find the A/C not working. I called Hoff at 730 and they arrived at 815AM! The technician Aden was the ultimate professional. One capacitor later the house was cooling off. 22 years after building this home we are still using Hoff.

They were able to get to troubleshooting the problem and quickly found the root cause of the issue. There was a temporary fix put in place until the parts came in and a final repair scheduled. There was open communication about the issue and the fix. I am glad to have Hof servicing my AC and furnace!

During the most recent heat wave our HVAC malfunctioned, forcing my family to check into a hotel for the weekend. During our staycation, we called multiple businesses to see if they could help us out, but none were available because they were not open on the weekends.

Monday morning we called Hoff to see when they could come out. That call was around 9: 30 am…and they were there at 10: 15. Devin found and fixed the issue within a few minutes, showing me what was wrong and explaining how the part that went bad stopped our HVAC. 10 minutes later everything was working as normal.

Not only did Hoff Heating and Cooling respond quickly, but Devin was incredibly kind and professional.

Of course, A/C stopped working on Friday night of holiday weekend. Called Hoff Saturday morning and was pleasantly surprised when call answered by a person! They were able to get someone out that day - in fact, much sooner than expected. Larry was polite and friendly. He quickly diagnosed and took care of problem.

AC wasn’t cooling on a Sunday. Left message and they called within 2 hours. Technician came at 7: 15 Monday morning and put in new compressor in outside unit. Cool house! Great company and technicians! Have used them for 15 years! Art was my tech guy! Did a great and fast job! Thanks!

Had a great experience with Hoff. They came out the same day that I called whereas competitors told me it would be possibly a week. A week without AC in July!

The tech who came to my home, Sean, was great. He was able to figure out the issue with my AC and thermostat. Said I needed a new control board and hard start. They had to order the parts, but in the meantime Sean wired up my system so we were able to at least turn on and off the AC manually since the board was fried. That got us through until they got the board in a week later. He took the time to show me what was going and and explain the issue to me.

Sean was back to install everything a week later and he got us up and running very quickly.

This is embarrassing to say, but I want to recognize this technician for his kindness. I sprained my ankle in my yard while he was there putting in the board. He was so kind to help me inside and make sure I was okay before leaving. I felt really bad for putting him through that but he rushed to help me immediately. Really amazing!

I would definitely recommend Hoff to anyone needing heating or cooling services in the area.

They were also prompt with sending a quote for the work via text and email. I was able to sign off on it quickly online. Pricing seemed fair.

I like the friendly technicians and that they answer my questions as they work. I like to watch them work and ask questions. Now with that said some technicians don't like to be watched or any questions. Most from Hoff's technicians are

Chris quickly got us set up with Denny, who helped us decide on a new system. We really appreciate how quickly they scheduled us for installation, which Tony and Jacob H.did a great job of. We couldn't be happier with our new system and our whole experience with Hoff. We would highly recommend them!

Great experience with our technician Jim. Received communication promptly and text alerting arrival. Jim was polite and professional and willing to answer all my questions. Service was fast and completed quickly with no issues.

I can't say enough about Bill K. Our family was left with a destroyed basement due to the recent flood. Bill came out right after the flood water went down. Told us to let it dry out and he'd come back. When I called to let Hoff know we we're all cleaned up but wanted assurance that our AC and Heating was intact it was Bill that again put our minds at ease. Thank you Bill and the Hoff Team. Hoff was able to have a technician at my house to diagnose the issue with my A/C unit the next morning after scheduling an appointment. They were able to second a second technician later that same day with replacement parts covered under warranty and repair was completed by early afternoon. Very quick, very professional, and very communicative.

I called only this team as they were the people who installed our AC at the time of build and I did the right thing, the technician Devin was very professional and also he explained each and everything he is doing and why he is doing so I was able get good knowledge on how they work. I really appreciate him for his excellent work. I was so happy with his work that I even signed the annual maintenance contract. Thanks team.

Our air went off on a hot Friday night, called Hoff on Saturday morning and a technician was here within hours to make the repair. He went out if his way to find us a fan motor quickly. So impressed with Tim who was efficient, professional and timely. Tim went above and beyond. I have great confidence in Hoff and their knowledgeable employees. Best of all a great fair price. I can't say enough!

I started out this whole issue by making a huge mistake and calling Jerry Kelly but after them trying to sell me a brand new $11,000 system (my house is under 10 years old) I called Hoff. I'm so glad I did!

They were fantastic and so professional. I had two techs come out, one time to charge the coolant to get us through the heat wave and then another time to install the part. Both techs, Kevin and Sean, were very professional and explained everything nicely.

Thank you for fixing my issue! It already feels better in my home. I will be signing up for their annual maintenance plan which is also reasonably priced and worth it.

Excellent service. Great communication. True professionals. Our AC went out last night. I called Hoff Heating and AC today at 8am. They collected our information, explained their process and said they would send someone today. I received a call and a text message letting me know that the technician was on his way to our house just a little over an hour later. Larry was thorough, professional, knowledgeable and friendly and had our AC fixed and running in less than 30 minutes. Our unit is 18 years old so it will need to be replaced soon and we’re so glad now we know exactly who to call for the job. We were quite impressed with this entire experience.

AC went out and I called first thing in the morning and they were out within 2 hrs. What a surprise! Cost was exactly what the service rep estimated. The service rep was thorough, went right to work checking things and had it fixed pretty quick. He had the parts with him, too, so no waiting there. Really pleased with the service
