Hoffmann Brothers, St. Louis MO

I had some minor electrical repairs made along with a whole-house surge protector. The technician arrived on time, listened to what the issue was, and was considerate and professional throughout his visit. I was clearly informed of the root cause and my options for repairs. The repair was handled quickly and expertly. No complaints.

Dan was extremely helpful and quick to find the source of the problem. He gave suggestions on how to fix the situation and did all that he was able to to alleviate problems and costly actions to assist in repairs. I would highly recommend him and Hoffmann Brothers to anyone for future repairs. I will use them as my first line for all future problems.

Needing to have a bathroom exhaust fan installed that's a bit beyond our knowledge, Hoffmann sent us Jake, who arrived promptly at 7: 00 AM and walked us through all steps that would need to be taken. We knew that there would be hurdles because of how the previous homeowners had DIY'ed the finished basement bathroom. Jake spotted several issues and walked us through all possible issues. He helped us find a solution for a fan and was happy to share his experience and knowledge to guide us through what would need to happen to replace the existing fan.

We've had nothing but an incredible experience with Hoffmann, and we're happy that we've signed up for their home protection. As we move through the house to upgrade and update, we're finding more and more issues left by sloppy DIY from previous owners. I'm able to not stress over the small things, or the elements of fixing issues because I know Hoffmann Brothers will send us qualified, experienced, knowledgeable, respectful, and friendly technicians every single time.

I've recommended Hoffmann to friends and family in the St. Louis area, and I will continue to do so. They have taken the stress out of homeownership and repair right off of my shoulders, and I feel comfortable and confident that I can trust them to make sure our home is not only up to code, but any job they are called for will be done right the first time!

In my opinion, our electrician Jake, and our previous plumbing technician Rich have been a welcome relief from previous experiences with other technicians from other companies.

Shawn of Hoffmann Brothers did an outstanding job in minimal time. He was able to hunt down the loose wire nut in my electrical system and fix all the problems I was having. Sometimes you need an expert, and Hoffmann Brothers has them. Thank you!

Hoffman Brothers is a great company to call because it's dependable on time great service they get the job done quick and efficiently and my recent job was an electrical panel replacement from 1977 and Chase to the fantastic job I know I'll use them again if need be which probably will be thanks Hoffman Brothers and thank you Chase.

Needed electrical issues diagnosed, tech Lucas was professional explained my issue to where I understood the problem and even scheduled my next appointment to resolve the electrical issue before he left.

Dan Hobein was fantastic. He listened to what I wanted done and got to work explaining to me what had to be done to achieve those things. He was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to explain the process to me. He got the work done quickly and cleanly and the quality of work was fantastic. Hoffman Brothers will be my first call for any future electric work I need done.
Edit: I keep using Hoffman and Dan and they never fail to impress.

The technician replaced my outside meter box and repaired my 200 AMP electric panel in the basement. He arrived on time and started work immediately. He completed the work about 2 hours before I expected and he removed all debris.

I had an outdoor receptical/outlet installed on my back patio. Shane (the electrician) was thorough and professional. He completed the job using quality materials, left no trace of his presence, and was finished in about 90 minutes. I have a few more electrical jobs around here and I am confident this business will do the job correctly. I would recommend them.

Shane pin point the issue and fixed it in 3 minutes. I have used Hoffman once before when I was having some plumbing issues in my kitchen. They fixed it right away and knew what the problem was they took care of it and I didn't have to call them back because it was fixed. I highly recommend them very professional very knowledgeable and they get the job done

I called to get my refrigerator looked at and the guy immediately looked at it so it would be $600 that’s the halfway fix it then he said it be like $1000 to fix it the right way what’s really wrong with it. I’m like I can get a new fridge for that then he offer financing and try to sell me a new fridge.when I can get one form Home Depot for cheaper. I definitely don’t recommend this company.still had to pay the $95 just for him to tell me all that what a rip off!

Fixed my electrical service that had been knocked out due to the storm.he was right on time.he looked over the situation went to check out several possibilities, did a test.and BAM, he determined the problem and fixed is RIGHT AWAY, i was so glad he came first thing in the morning, cause i was able to go ahead with my day.i was afraid to leave my home in that condition - power on one side of the house and NO power on the other side of the house. Luke did and ABSOLUTELY, MAGNIFICENT job. AND he was polite and friendly. GRANDEO-SO JOB!

My AC at my business went out Tues afternoon. I called them first thing in the morning and they were at my place by 2pm the next day. I agree to a service contract and by 11am the next day the technician was at my place, diagnosed and fixed the problem. I can't thank them enough.

Jake put in a new electrical outlet for us. He was efficient, completing his job in less than an hour. We are very pleased with his professional demeanor and he gave us an exact quote for the job. I called and spoke with Ross, an associate the early part of the week, needing to schedule a technician to come out and diagnose my washer. I was told that a tech would be out on Friday, at 7 am. I thought that it was bit early, so specifically asked if this was a "service window" situation or if a tech would be out exactly at 7 am, so that I was able to coordinate my work schedule around the appointment. Ross assured me that it was exactly at 7 am, even stating that "he may show up a bit earlier since you're the first appointment of the day".

Friday, 06/17/22: I call the office at 7: 12 stating that no technician has arrived and I've not received a call stating they are running late. I was told by Jan that no appointment was made for me, that I was placed on a "during the daily routine" queue. I reiterated by conversation with Ross earlier this week and she just repeated the same thing.

VERY disappointed. I not only had to rearrange my work schedule, but was told the complete polar opposite of what transpired, despite my asking very specifically re: time of service call.

Could not be more pleased with this service. Called late Monday afternoon (12/06/2021) with an urgent need: new induction electric range delivered that day could not be installed because it required outlet for plug and old range was live-wired from circuit box. Receptionist arranged for service within 48 hours (Wednesday 12/08/2021). Electrician arrived on time, masked and promptly and efficiently installed outlet. Excellent service from Hoffman Bros, for second time within a year!

The work done for me was exceptional! Friends had recommended them for their quality of work and they were so right. I explained what I wanted, left everything to the electrician and then just admired the transformation!

This was a first visit. Clint walked through the house with me and we discussed the projects he will do. He was knowledgeable and professional and nice! I have homework to do (aka shopping for new fixtures) and then we'll get the jobs done in January. Cannot wait!
