Homewood Suites by Hilton St. Louis Riverport- Airport West, Maryland Heights MO

I prepaid for this stay through Expedia/orbitz and found out a few days after checking out that they took my credit card that they swipe for the security deposit and charged me a second time for the room. I have been fighting for a month to get my money back. So far I spent a couple hours of my life, over half a dozen phone calls, and found out towards the end of the month that the employee I was talking to lied to me every time about initiating my refund. I went on to find out that that employee was fired, and they have offered me some Hilton reward points, but I still don't have my money back. An additional six business days have passed, and there's no indication of refund is being processed. They keep telling me I need to wait 30 business days more, which, by that point I can't dispute it with my credit card anymore, since 60 days would have passed. If they can charge you instantly, there's absolutely no freaking reason why they can't refund you instantly. This is a bunch of nonsense. While talking to one of the other employees, I was told this happened to a number of people. Avoid this place like the plague, The rooms are damaged, door knobs broken in the bathroom, rust running down the walls in the shower, light bulb fixtures broken, the carpet is sticky and makes you gag if you try to walk on a barefoot. It used to be a decent location that made it convenient to cross the road to get to the amphitheater for concerts, but it's really gone downhill, and apparently they are a bunch of thieves now.

If they're rebuilding or renovating with staff, rooms & interior do it quickly please! I will say that there's hope.

Very clean and spacious rooms! Breakfast wasn't bad at all. The waffle machine was down. The pool was also closed bc of construction. I'd still spend my money here! Kids were bummed about those 2 things.

Hey shortly to get away from your family here one reason we booked it because it had a pool. When we arrive, we found out the pool was closed. Staffed is extremely rude. Went down for morning breakfast and the gentleman that was working was more worried about making sure their biscuits were overflowing instead of making sure there was stuff to drink. This has been the worst Hilton brand I have ever been to.

It was very dirty. Staff didn't really seem to care. I love Homewood Suites but not this location.

Disappointed in my $200 a night experience. We booked this hotel for shuttle service to the concert. When I asked what time the shuttle started running I was told "I don't know if it will be, I haven't seen anyone but you can walk" A 10min walk in cowgirl boots is not ideal so we had an added expense of an Uber driver. Woke up ready to workout only to find the door wasn't working and they were waiting on maintenance which could be an hour. Pool was also not available for use due to maintenance. Room not cleaned as it should be. Windows disgusting, trash next to couch. Bed was comfortable which is about the only good experience we had. Breakfast consisted of a stale bagel. Nothing like we've ever experienced at any other Home 2 Suite locations. Will not be back.

We brought our two daughters ages 12 & 7 to a concert. The night of the concert my daughter who is 7 couldn’t sleep because she was cold. I walked to the front desk and asked for an extra blanket. The front desk attendant (woman with dark hair and had her disabled son there working with her) gave me huge attitude and told me there were no blankets in the entire hotel. I was in shock I couldn’t even respond and just walked away. The next morning we went for the breakfast and there was hardly any food. The pool was closed and has been for sometime. The gym was unusable. Our headboard had cigarette burns in it. The door to come in and out of the building wasn’t even locked. Very unsafe. I would never stay here again.

Horrible experience. I got in around 1230am. Upon entering the room it was still dirty from the night before. No housekeeper had entered that room. Bed unmade with dirty sheets. Dirty towels in shower. Trash can full of trash. No soap or shampoo in shower dispensers. I went to desk to let them know and request a clean room but they were sold out. I then requested some clean sheets which I got but no clean pillow cases which I realized after going back to my room to then spend 30 minutes cleaning and changing my sheets. I requested a refund when checking out. They said they couldn't do it but manager would. Nothing was refunded so I called and after several attempts to get through was given the gm voice mail. I left a message. No response. I waited 2 weeks. I called again and again waited 20 minutes to get through and was again sent to the gm voice mail. Left another message. No response. Staff there just doesn't care about guests, stay away in my opinion.

Close to Hollywood Casino Amphitheater so you can walk to and from. The service is excellent but the rooms could be a little cleaner (not dirty dirty but not a lot of attention to details) and could use a fresh coat of paint.

Homewood is almost always where we stay, and we expect a certain level of experience, cleanliness, and accommodations. We arrived late, which with our app we were able to contactless check in. We cooked dinner instead of eating out, only to discover our room have one large knife, one large spoon, four butterknives, one fork, and one spatula. It had the standard four plates, tall glasses, small glasses, small plates. At breakfast they did have sausage, ham, eggs, hashbrowns, oatmeal, and cereal. There was a sign that said no waffles today. After getting ready for the day, we noticed the bathroom sink faucet isn't secure, and the room has things that are dirty. We asked for more forks and were told to grab plastic forks. After realizing some things were dirty/missing we went looking. No sheets/blankets for the hide-a-bed, no hair dryer (but there was a part to it), walls were dirty, drawers were dirty, the hall has scuff marks and dirt on the walls. Couch was new, carpet is new, bed is off center (which bothers some of us, not others). We will not stay at this Homewood again. Pictures uploaded, couldn't upload video of faucet. Stayed in room 102 We stripped the sheets.

I stayed in room 309 and the first thing I noticed was that the floor was sticky. I then noticed the table was also sticky. I attached a picture with what the table looked like when we came in. I also took a picture of what the filthy washcloth looked like after I wiped down the table and the sticky spots on the floor. There were no paper towels, but I did find an empty roll! There were dirty dishes in the dish washer. In the bathroom the bath tub leaked so bad to the point we had to put a towel under the drip so we could sleep. There was medication in the corner of the bathroom because no one swept. There was also someone's left behind hair conditioner on the edge of the bathtub. The handle on the bathroom door was hard to open from the inside. There was only one tv remote for two TVs. On the plus side, they had a welcome gift of a tiny diet pepsi and some candy.addressed so someone else! I paid $200 for the room so I thought it'd at least be clean. We almost just drove back home that night instead of staying but it was already paid for. What a joke.

Room was dirty, pool was closed down. Key fob for door entry didn't work from outside. Unless you have no where else to go save your money.

The accommodations was okay. The pool was under renovations. The gym was small but had a peloton bike. The hotel was three floors we stayed in a double Queen bed with plenty of room. My room had all that was needed for both a small and extended stay. If you want fancy-this isn't it. The breakfast was the best part of the stay. The kids really enjoyed the waffles.

My room had a clogged bathtub, asked the front desk twice to clear it and they never did. Very dated place with nasty carpet and curtains. Just an overall disgusting place

Good hotel just SUPER sketchy, dump truck came at 4: 30 am woke everyone up sounded like a tornado was going on. I also did not feel very safe there.

RUNNNN! Stay anywhere but here. I called to cancel my room 2 days in advance and the person I spoke with told me there would be NO charge when I asked. I was then charged. After calling and talking to the first 2 people. They reassured me they would make sure the refund was issued but it never was. One lady said she would call me back but never did. When I finally called and spoke with the manager, he said he would look into it and call me back in 30 minutes, but never did. They gave me the run around. When I called and talked to corporate, they said they were refusing to issue me the refund and were going to contact me in 48 hours. I would never stay here again. They lied to me multiple times. BAD MANAGEMENT!
