Homewood Suites by Hilton Kansas City-Airport

This was a very nice clean hotel. When we asked about the best places to eat for BBQ, the concierge gave a list of places. We were here for the weekend visiting to see the Negro Baseball League Museum and the Jazz Museum.

First room had no AC. Entire place stinks of marijuana. Night stands still have rings from previous stays drinks. Bathroom vent is disgusting, never cleaned. Wallpaper peeling off. Not a nice place. Staff was very nice however. The ceiling around the ceiling fan is black from dust and grime.

The Homewood Suites is an awesome hotel. Rooms are perfect. Loved having a patio door right off the pool. Our family and friends had an excellent stay!

THIS WAS THE MOST HORRIBLE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD WITH A HOTEL, it is nicely built the Intentious are wonderful with a full kitchen sitting area separate from bedroom tv in both areas phone in both areas the sink area is separate from bathroom built really nice, but the staff can truly mess up a business THE START OF CHECK IN EVERYTHING THAT COULD GO WRONG DID, BATHROOM toilet was broken after flush water was every where SITTING AREA, FURNITURE, CARPET, HAD A BAD SMELL IT NEEDS TO BE A DEEP CLEANING OR TIME FOR NEW, definitely after a pets was in room not just a general cleaning that you would clean after people.business can be pet friendly no problem but what about the customers who have Allergies, Analerted to pets, what do you do when it cause a trip to the urgent care or worst hospital, so that was my experience this weekend for my husband, he was not able to enjoy our get away weekend, I was not able also due to now I have to take care of him. MANAGERS AT CHECK IN WAS NO HELP WHAT SO EVER, IF HOTELS ARE CHARGING SECURITY DEPOSITS that should be put on websites when booking room, not when you get there to check in or if booking with a customer service representative it should told that we do charge a security deposit fee it will be refunded back to your account after your stay have settles, just like you let pet owners know it an pet fee up front not when they check in and it should be a Designated Area in the hotel for pet owners, not all over hotel, all over the furniture, I was walking down the hall a young lady had a Pit Bull or Rock Welder huge she was small framed had a choker collar on the dog it was an Aggressive dog, when she saw me she had to choker it up because he was going to come at me I stood still so she can get it together but if the dog came at me it was nothing she would be able to do it was bigger than her and I, it should be a policy in place that Aggressive dogs are not allowed in Public Places, Hotel where they can Attack innocent people yes you love your dog, but other people don't as myself and it should not be allowed in hotels, public places, that is not a service dog they are friendly they are to help with a disability not your pet that is trained to keep just you safe no matter what the breed is.if your dog is Aggressive they need to be at home with you, I didn't go on vacation to be eating up by an aggressive dog, for now on with my last experience will definitely get an hotel that no pets are allowed, I have nor the time energy at 61 to be running or standing still to keep your dog from Attacking me and I'm on vacation inside a hotel where I should be safe period! And the only thing everyone is saying I'm So Sorry for your experience, and the dog owner my dog loves people not sure what happened it never acts like this before REALLY!

The rooms are very nice and appear clean, however the provided dishes were left dirty with chunks of food and that makes it pretty clear that they don’t properly clean in between customers. The lady that was working the front desk also had no clue what she was talking about. She told us that breakfast ended at ten so we missed it when we tried to go at 9: 30 since it ends at 9. As well as we asked for help with our chromecast because it wouldn’t connect and she argued that there was no chrome cast even though the tv showed instructions for how to cast and we could see it connected to the tv.

We love staying here when we come to Kansas City. The rooms are comfortable and they really try to accommodate you which I really appreciate. I have 2 different types of arthritis and it's hard to do stair most times. And I hate elevators they freak me out. But this hotel is very accommodating. Will be back again soon

The room smelt like marijuana, it was coming from the vents. There was food left in the fridge so obviously it was not cleaned. The used paper towel roll they left had pizza sauce all over the bottom of the roll. They have a pull out couch but no bedding for it. We only received one towel in the room for a family of 4. The “hot” complimentary breakfast was far from hot, potatoes were cold, eggs were cold, not a good selection of other options. Not a place I would rush back to visit

Front desk was a bit dry! The fact that I'm a Diamond member doesn't mean anything to me but good customer service does! It was busy so she could have been have a rough day!

What a wonderful surprise experience! The room was better than expected, as were the amenities. Highly recommended. Great value.

The staff was not very accommodating to my large family. They were not pleased when we tried to use the dining room for meals.

Upon check-in, we needed to pick up the phone and call for someone who was actually in the back room. The neighborhood is quiet despite the fact that it’s near the airport. The rooms are nice and very well-maintained. I highly recommend going to the nearest QT for breakfast as the food was cold. Nothing fancy about this breakfast, don’t waste your time.

Clean. Government rate. Nice pool and poolside with a grill, patio lights, and plantings. Decent, simple hot breakfast. Small gym with free weights. Sidewalk to the National Weather Training Center.

Check in was very easy and smooth. Loved how close the hotel was to the airport and also really near shopping centers and restaurants. The hotel stay was great, really quiet. The small living room and small dinning area were great specially when having kids with you during the stay.

Y'all should learn from your Nashville location cause you're TERRIBLE! Rude, close breakfast 30 mins early and don't answer the operator "call 0" line.

Room was clean, bed was comfortable, low water pressure in the shower, breakfast was lacking in options. I would stay here again if the price was acceptable again.

It was ok. But not one 9f my favorites. I did like the fact that they had the bedroom is separate then the other area made it feel more like home. And thank you to the host health app for responding to this message.

Great location near airport, high end neighborhood, easy access to groceries, short drive to downtown. Homewood rarely misses when looking for a mid range option with huge rooms and suites. Some small issues with elevator (broken buttons and floor indicator), other small maintenance issues with doors with loose hinges, etc. Breakfast was not great - as coffee was very watery, bacon limp and undercooked, hash browns mushy (all mornings of our stay). Everything was however clean and tidy in the suite, fresh linens, and as always check in and out was incredibly smooth with the app. If they fix the breakfast and do maintenance on doors and fixtures I would update review to 5 stars.

Very nice, newly remodeled hotel. King suite is perfect size with a small living room and dining area and a separate bedroom.
