Not very sure of the relationship between Frontenac Detailing and Honda but, came in for a detail for a newly purchased vehicle. Ended up broadening the service request for a little cosmetic body work. Body work was performed by an outside source provided by the detailer. Work on the body was done just shy of perfection and I was very satisfied. However, the service that brought me in was subpar to say the least. The detail in my opinion was never performed! I am very OCDish, and I brought the car in cleaner than anything on the lot and expected at least the $450 service performed as clearly depicted on the web site. My car was not touched in this regard. Not an ounce of wax was applied to my car, no attention was provided inside or out. Far from a dummy! Everyone was extremely nice however, when bringing this to their attention, honesty and/or an explanation is all I was looking for and I did not received it. I believe this could be a good place but. I guess the car was already super clean when I brought it in so I wasn't supposed to even notice. Darn shame. Only thing that would have truly made the experience better is honesty at this point! Venting I know, but GOD is good and this feeling of deceit shall pass!

It appeared that I had a slow/intermittent leak in my right rear tire. I planned to take the car on an out of town trip in a couple of days. HoF saw my car the next day, found a nail in the tire, and patched the leak. No problems during my 600 mile trip. Timely and good service.

Zero customer service. Waited almost 3 hours (after making an appointment!) - to be told the person to make my key fob that they didn’t have when they sold me the car wasn’t even in that day. Horrible customer service. I’ve made 3 phone calls to ‘management’ and have never even received a call back. Shelly (total rockstar) in the service dept is the only employee that even tried to correct any of the multiple issues I had. If you’re looking for good customer service - stick to Leta or Bommarito or Napleton. I’ve had 7 Hondas and never experienced this lack of customer service EVER.

I took my car in to get a new key fob. They said it would take less than an hour, but it actually took 1.5 hours. I had nothing to do that day, so wasn’t upset at the wait. The worker ended up giving me a 10% discount for waiting a long time, which was unexpected and nice! Overall, I’m happy with my new key fob (it was a tad expensive though, but that is just the reality of getting a new fob).

Our salesman, John Brown was so wonderful to work with! He was friendly, accommodating, and made the process seamless. We enjoyed buying a car with him and would do it again!

I’ve been meaning to leave this review for about a year now.

When I went to this dealership the staff were SO incredibly disrespectful to an older man whose first language was not English.

I’ll never service with them again.

The old man just needed some help. I had to step in and advocate on his behalf. Once I did so, the employee produced the documents the old man had been requesting and the situation was all but settled.

He was physically disabled and likely not wealthy, neither am I, and this dealerships zip code is famously wealthy. I know the staff here are working class folks but y’all were NOT acting like it on this day.

The staff stopped holding the door open for the old man and I had to step in, AS A CUSTOMER, or he could’ve been hurt or stuck on the outside of the service bay.

I cried SO hard in my car after walking out of the service bay. It took me a long time to even compose myself enough to be able to safely drive home. THAT IS HOW BAD YOUR STAFF WERE TREATING THIS MAN.

THE OLD MAN WAS THERE FOR A RECALL. HE WAS ONLY THERE BECAUSE OF HONDA’S MISTAKE.

Shame on you all.

This happened in late/mid September 2022.

I told him I would write a bad review and now I’m finally fulfilling my promise. I hope that older gentleman is doing well.

I WILL NEVER BE RETURNING.

Just left Sales with another new car! Martin Kingsbury has always been my sales specialist and always been the best! Then I look forward to my Service visits with Dan, Pat & Nick. Everyone is professional, kind and efficient! Thank you to all of "my people" at Honda of Frontenac!
Once again Honda of Frontenac did it! Just got my new HRV with the help of April in Sales, Ryan in Finance and Dan in Service. You all are amazing! All were so kind and went above and beyond expectations. These are the wonderful people you want to work with. Thanks to all.

I took my 12 year old Honda Fit in for an inspection, oil change, and transmission fluid drain and fill. When I arrived at my appt time of 7 am, it seemed so busy I was worried about having to wait for hours, but I was pleasantly surprised that it was under an hour and a half. The customer service rep (Ian?) was very pleasant and knowledgeable. I will definitely use them again.

I came to HF looking to see and test drive a few used Jeeps. While I didn’t go home in a new ride that day, I had a great experience with Mike. He knew his stuff, was real easy to talk about my financial situation, and didn’t pressure me into anything. While I ended up not doing business with the dealership, Mike gave me his ## and made me want to keep him in mind in the future.

Incredible experience all around. My sales consultant, April Garner, was patient and thoughtful, listened to my needs and wants. She didn’t rush me or make me feel as if I was wasting her time because I was working within a budget. I was so grateful for her suggestions and recommendations. Thanks to this experience, I will recommend Honda Frontenac, and April of course, to anyone in the market for a trustworthy dealership.

I recently had the pleasure of working with April Garner. Buying a car is so stressful! April said buying a car should be fun! She made it fun! Answered all of my questions, made me feel comfortable with my choices and above all the transparency I received from her and her management during the entire process was exceptional.
