Nice course. Wide open for the most part. They have 3 greens with water on at least 3 “sides” of them. Almost “island” greens. Some cool holes. Nice conditions. Not a lot of trouble, so swing away!

If I’m in the area, I’ll certainly play Hoots Hollow again. Thanks for the fun round!

I used to love this course but the management is awful and treats their customers poorly. I was mid putt and the management came out yelling and cussing at our group. Totally unprofessional.

I’ve played almost every course in Kansas City and have never encountered a more rude marshal. His personal group was behind my group. He drove to us almost on the green. To yell at us for not letting them play through. My tee time was 11: 30 and I’m writing this in the clubhouse at the turn. At 1: 30 after letting them play through and eating a hot dog. So we aren’t exactly playing slow. I’ve played a lot of golf here and won’t be back.

I like the course because it's mostly wide open. There are not many par 3s. The price is right: $17 to walk 18 holes including a small bucket of balls for the range. The riding price is $30 and I figure $33 if you get a small bucket of balls. Was really surprised today that they were short on carts. We had to wait to tee off because there were no carts available. Thumbs down. After 9 holes it was roughly 3pm and they had already stopped preparing warm food items like hot dogs. Thumbs down again. Needless to say we didn't stay after we finished our round.

They have been doing a lot of work on their greens. Sand/aerating and rolling greens as well as verticutting greens. A lot more firm and faster greens. I know spelling isn't right but you get it. I appreciate all their hard work. Thanks you.

Road trip from CA. My husband and his friend loved this course! They say it’s the best course they’ve played in a long time. The staff was incredibly thoughtful. They recommended places to eat (we loved Margaritaville) and gave us a map to Olethe. My husband swears he’ll fly back just to play here again.

I love playing Hoots Hollow the course is perfect for my game, there’s some very challenging holes on the course, with sand traps and water hazards, some long par 4’s and 5’s, Friendy staff and great rates, if your in the area, it’s a must play

I’ve played this course before. It’s in good shape and maintained well. What I like about it are island greens. I’ve dumped lots of balls in the water. My friends said to just drop one on the green, only for me to reply it’s going in the hole if i do it.
What I’ve done to bypass management is book online only. It’s much better. Am there to play not to deal with folks.

I would never recommend this course. It's just ok. It has some good holes but the management is horrible and rude. Nice club house and snack bar. The golf carts are the worse I've ever seen on a public course. If

You can't beat the price for a round of golf. There are nicer courses around but they charge multiple times what you pay here, still a beautiful course and you get well more than what you pay for

Course has less and less maintenance each year. Carts are in poor condition and will not last 18 holes about 50% of the time.

Great course. Amenities are top notch. I play in a church tournament out here every year and am never disappointed.
