This location does not accept cash and their credit card reader didn't work, forcing us to order online. That process took entirely too long so we left without cookies.

The guy who answered the phone was nice but he isn't the delivery person. WE NEVER RECEIVED COOKIES! And we literally lived less than 5 minutes from the store. I called 3 times over the course of 2+ hours & the kid that answered the phone finally told me he couldn't get ahold of the delivery driver. $36 dollars worth of cookies that I NEVER RECEIVED. I WANT A REFUND IMMEDIATELY. I will never order from HOT BOX again.
I ordered from Insomnia Cookies & got my delivery in 30 minutes- & they're 10 minutes away!

Nikki was very helpful with the challenges the Hot Box website was giving me and patiently waited on the phone with me to try different options for the website until I could get my order placed for delivery. She even tried some things from her end and could not get the website to function properly. Much appreciated Nikki!

It's pretty casual with the employees and the interior is just the counter and the kitchen. The cookies, though, are delectable. Fantastic flavors and you can actually taste the flavors. They're the perfect sweetness.

This is a cookie cake that I ordered and received from Hot Box Cookies on S. Grand in St. Louis. When I arrived, on time, my order was not ready. Not only was it not ready, the staff presented very agitated and were debating the validity of me actually placing my on line order. Once they “found” my cake, they began to complain that the ”day shift” failed to write on the cake and that it was not their job to do this. After much discussion, staff wrote, very sloppy, and obviously using the wrong tip, “Happy Friends-giving”. This was distasteful, and inconvenient. As a result I was 60 min late to my event that I had to show up with this, mess. I will not be returning to this location.

If you pickup hot box it’s great, but delivery was a different story. I get it was a Monday night, but if someone orders for delivery, let that person know ASAP that there’s no delivery driver so they would have to pick up or cancel. Not 1.5 hours later at the time when your order was supposed to arrive… pretty disappointed

A rude woman at the front. I didn't even purchase anything and just left. Because I didn't have the patience and time to deal with her.

Loved the look of the place, its atmosphere, and the staff! The cookies however were "doughy" to me but someone else may love it. Try it for yourself!

They don't pay u for working for them said I still waiting to get paid. They keep sending my money to the wrong account so they don't have to pay I well never pay cookies from them are work for the at the location at the central west end. They so unprofessional they won't call me about the issue.

Good cookies, and normally I love this place, but I ordered milk with my cookies and while it was listed as not expiring for another month, it tasted kinda funny. Powered through my glass, and there was large chunks at the bottom of the glass. Not sure how it had gone bad, but was grossed out.

I want to express my disappointment and frustration regarding a recent experience I had at this location. I stopped in on July 11 around 9pm hoping to enjoy some freshly baked cookies. However, I was informed that the store was already out of cookies, despite the store's scheduled closing time being two hours away.

I bought a dozen cookies for 24 bucks and change. Left a 2 dollar tip because all you did was press a couple of buttons, but at least you entertained my kids for a sec. I check my account balance 31.48 withdrawn. That doesn’t seem right. Neglected to get my receipt otherwise I would’ve went back, either way, I got conned money I had no intention of giving.

To the young lady who knew I was having a rough night & made it infinitely better, thank you so much. Awesome customer service & very kind. Young woman with reddish/brown hair Wednesday night, didn’t catch her name!

Terrible customer service. Young lady working on 7/21/23 around 4pm cst did not speak or greet us coming in. We had to speak to her and she was very dry when she did speak. Took the order and tossed them on the counter instead of handing us out 2 cookies. She needs training and a better attitude greeting customers so people will want to come back. Cookies were just ok. Overcooked and didn't taste that great like they normally do.

I placed an order and when I arrived the door was locked and no one answered the phone I would like a refund immediately

We used hotbox to cater our wedding and they were awesome! Sometimes it can be intimidating booking a company with multiple locations, but the communication with hotbox was outstanding and they were great! The guests loved the cookies and Jake was really cool to work with.

Excellent customer service. Nikki was very friendly, patient and helpful in placing my order. She went above and beyond to make my first time an awesome experience! The cookies were so Delicious! I will definitely be back!

Absolutely horrible customer service. I have already sent an email to the manager with a complaint and there has been no response. Employee didn't listen when I was trying to help her. She tossed the cookies back on the counter and put them back in a bigger box because it didn't fit in a smaller box. I came back home with broken and tossed up cookies!

Horrible customer service and the 2 workers that I encountered need training. First experience placing an order was more than enough to not return.

Ashae was such a wonderful experience! They were knowledgeable in the product, helped me quickly, and all with a smile! I cannot express how much they elevated the experience of shopping here!
