The office I go to always has the best, friendliest, and most knowledgeable staff. Its always a great experience.

I went in on a walk-in. Which says they offer. But they had to find someone available. I’m really sorry they did! I have NEVER been unhappy with Block, sometime I can do them at home through Block. But wow. This lady has them messed up. She has me living in KCMO, but don’t so now I owe city tax to a city I don’t live in. I had a 1099 for a little casino win, in MO. She applied it to KS and I had to pay for both those forms. I think it is time for someone to retire! For the love of God! I want them reworked and amended and my money back!

Monica Mahmood did not prepare my taxes. Jenny Lambros did. She was woefully unprepared for my appointment but I don't think she was set up for success. This office is very poorly managed.

The receptionist was very unprofessional did not know what she was doing she messed my emerald card all up changed things I did not ask for did not give me the same thing that I had it goes to show you that they just hire anybody and that's sad when they say they have our back and they hurt us more than they help

Absolutely terrible. Zero stars. My tax return has been in limbo for weeks and I can't contact anyone. I have been on hold for hours. I have set up 2 appointments for a "tax pro" to call me and no one has called. Utterly useless. I don't even know if my taxes will be able to be filed at this point. At least message me so I know what's going on. If anyone knows any contact within the company that I can talk to that can point me to my tax return that is supposed to be available for review, please let me know. I have no idea what to do.

I love my tax lady. She does a great job and really helps me understand how it works and my options. She makes sure everything is covered

These people were very kind and helpful! I had a unique and challenging situation and the employees at H&R block handled it very professionally even though there were some bumps along the road. I had to reach out to check on the status of my taxes, but it all worked out seamlessly in the end!

The lady who helped me at H&R block was very helpful and made my experience worth coming back. She was kind and very friendly. It wasn't just me going in to do taxes she made me comfortable and played with my kids. An amazing lady!

Love H&R for my taxes, and hope flexible are with times and weekend for me that works Monday to Friday. But it's the 2nd year that I have to wait when I have a set appt. Not a long wait but I try to be on time to my appointments.

I was very pleased with the Warm Customer Service I received this morning. Probably the best H&R Branch I have ever been too. Very Professional and friendly. Hoping I get the same person next year!

They have several options to choose from and will get your refund the quickest way possible. Call and let them shoulder the stress of tax season. Independence has 3 locations: Noland Rd. (the one I was at), Maywood, and on the Square.

I have been returning to H&R Block for several years, best service and I feel confident in having changes and new things offered to me with my best interest in mind

We filed 2 years of income taxes in September of 2018 I go in this Week 2 file 2018 itself and find out that even though I was told before left the office the good news Irs has accepted both your 2016 and 2017 returns I go in to find out now there has been a host reject of 2017 which when we set there together with the H and R block agent and called Irs they plainly told her there was a $1400 charge to me because of it yet H and R block did not tell me they had kept or rejected my 2017 return. I bought the piece of mind I have for the last 30 years so what does the peace of mind do for you? Absolutely nothing if I don't get the satisfaction of the $1400 we will never file a TAX return there again.

Was told to get my taxes done by a professional instead of myself this year due to opening my own business. Based on my experience, my tax professional will not be this H&R Block next year. My tax "professional" knew less about my deductions and tax forms than I did. I was told my business expenses shouldn't be deducted, they didn't understand a 1099 from my investments, it was both embarrassing and painful to watch. AND I got way over charged without being told pricing structure. I could have done this on my own using TurboTax for free!

I was told previous years were done incorrectly by H&R Block! There was no kind of reconciliation for this - other than the manager giving me $30.00 off AFTER I asked - the price was very inflated and as someone who has trusted H&R Block for over 15 years this is very upsetting. I will not be back.
