Great location! Plenty of spaced out camping and cabins. We have a cabin with a great view and spaced nicely from other cabins.
Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful.

Best camping place! Super friendly staff (Thanks for all you do!) Beautiful and spacious campsite. Lots of fun activities. One of my very favorite places to go (and I do several times a year) the campsites are so clean and well kept. The store has everything and the will even deliver pizza and wings to your campsite if you don't feel like cooking after a long day on the river.

Loveeee Huzzah but a little disappointed in their cancellation policy. We booked a day before on floats and we had about 8 people drop due to Covid. We weren’t able to get even a small percentage back or a credit. It stinks they don’t have any other options. We lost almost $400.

This round there were a TON of RVs and not much grasslands either. That was sad to see.

We may check out the other campgrounds in the area next go around.

We have done float trips here several times. The staff is always very friendly and quick at their jobs. They have nice facilities for changing and a well stocked shop to pick up souvenirs or anything you forgot. The grounds are always nicely kept.
We have had friends camp here, the sites are small and crammed together but right next to the creek which is nice.

Remarkably clean, well-maintained and beautifully located resort with very helpful and friendly staff. Crystal-clear river where we spent about 5 hours on our floaties, lazily drifting under the tree coverage. Spacious camp sites, full hook-up for our travel trailer. Will certainly see this place again!

Nice campground with lots of amenities and very clean facilities. Friendly staff. Very large campground. Alcohol, ice, and food are available on site. Wasn't crowded when I went weekend after labor day, but can get very crowded on peak weekends. Has a bit more of a commercial vibe compared to a lot of the other campgrounds I've been. It's very well run and set up to handle anything from short day trips to summer long escapes and groups of all sizes.

Update: 3 years and 3 stays later and it's still a great place.

Great place to float, camp or just spend the day at a site with friends for a cookout and some time in the water!

Float with them every year. But this year we payed for camping after all girl float. Payed $60 to camp went back 20min later because of rain and no refund. $60 for not even getting out car at campsite. Unbelievable!

I've been here three times. Twice to float. Great fun. The DJ in camp is an awesome idea. Only issue was the trash in our site that wasn't cleaned up. Otherwise a very nice place. I'm hoping to go back soon.

We always enjoy camping here at Huzzah. Everything was great except the lady that checked us in was kinda rude, I completely understand that they have a lot going on but the workers need to remember we are paying a lot of money to be there.we are excited to be there and have a good time so when the first person you see when you arrive isn't very pleasant it kind of affects your mood when you're just there to have fun.

It was fun, beautiful and once we got past the people it was quiet and relaxing. Loved It!

They put us in at 12: 30ish 6 miles and never told us how low the river was and probably drug that thing-raft +4 miles. We fell constantly, which has never happened before. My brother, a very fit 32-year-old veteran, started drowning at the end because his body gave out from the dragging of the raft for so long. It was 8: 30 pm pitch black when we finally made it. We only stopped 1x for 15 min. Thank God for my nephews and brother for dragging it.

Love this place! Been there 3 times and always have a good time. Only down side: there are always cops hiding near the river bank somewhere trying to write someone a ticket for some minor infraction. Revenue generation only because no one is any danger or out to harm anyone or anything.

The river was narrow at first, so it was bumper boats at the start. Don't jump off the first cliff you see on the float.it's way too shallow. They have food to order that will show up at a certain time. My food showed up two hours later after a call every hour after waiting it was cold. They had a pavilion that a dj was playing at after dark, which was unique. I haven't seen that camping.

It's a bit of a trek from St. Louis, but well worth it for the awesome experience - the river has crawdads and fish and amazingly cool rocks (including geodes) for kids to explore, and frequent banks perfect for picnics. There are some shallower areas that require a bit of portage, and rope swings set up along deeper stretches as well as calm tree-covered tunnels- I like the size of the river before it joins up with the Meramec, it seems easier to get in&out of the vehicle (raft, canoe, kayak or tube) and a lot of the others were long-standing repeat floaters from our conversations.
For someone who typically isn't a fan of technology, their updated online paperwork made it SO MUCH EASIER to get to the fun part - especially when you have small kids who want to be there and in the water already.
