Hy-Vee Grocery Store, Bethany MO

Everybody raves about Whole Foods. I’ve been in their stores after shopping Hy-Vee for years and WF doesn’t deserve all the hype it gets. But since it’s in all the major cities most people there don’t know anything else. HY-Vee food is always quality. One complaint is pre slicing the deli meat. It gets old fast but the service is great. What other grocery store offers the customer a restaurant?

The staff at Hy-Vee takes great care of the customer. It is employee owned and the customer service is worth 10 stars.

The service is fine but do they guarantee there produce if it's not good! Was not happy at all!

They don’t seem to be hiring people with a very high professional standard. I watched 2 boys “filling” ice outside, they were throwing ice chunks at cars and truck in the parking lot and one of them just ripped a bag of ice open and threw it on the ground. Very unprofessional, they need better employees rather than just teenagers who want money.

This location doesn't have a deli. It's a old store. Staff are pretty nice. Clean

Very close to home an very helpful a friendly. Only concern is that you have to be careful about dates when they have sales.

Super friendly staff that were very helpful despite being very busy on a Friday before a Holiday weekend. And the store makes the best of the old-school grocery store size by packing in a good selection of products.

Small Town - grocery store atmosphere. Nice people. On some things you might pay more, but it's nice to not have to go to a big store.

Great place to get fresh produce. Very clean. If you are wanting a special cut of meat they have there own meat cutter.

Requested the manager carry a very specific type of non-dairy milk for my family-she had it available a week later!

Never go there at lunchtime the cashiers get to talking and when you ask to pay for your items they gang up screaming at you very hostile environment! Don't go there if you have high blood pressure either those older cashiers try and provoke fights

If you are looking for specialty cuts of meat or items that tend to lean to the more gourmet.side of things then this is the place to go. The manager is extremely helpful and if you cant find what it is your looking for then talk to him. I have no doubt that he will bend over backwards to accommodate your needs. The staff is courteous, friendly and always willing to help you locate items that you cant find. The cashiers are professional and friendly making this a great home store to shop in. You can order online, pay for it and it will all be ready for you to pick up. With the pandemic still with us this is a great way to protect yourself and your lives ones. Busy parents that dread a trip to the grocery store with tired and hungry kids should take advantage of the online ordering, it's a timesaver for sure!

Generally clean, and the staff is usually nice. I've only been a couple of times but a pretty good experience so far, just a small store.

Set up very nice, one of the workers Mindy Graves helped us quite a bit, she went above and beyond, another cashier that stood out was a women named Leah, I'm not sure of her last name, they were all very professional.

The staff is helpful. The store is ready to navigate. And if you need help, there is always someone close by who can help, always with a smile.

Very helpful check out girl at register. Some how I had missed one of my items and she saw me coming and meet me half way. Thank you very much!

I'm changing it to 5 stars because the people are friendly, I want to give it 3 stars because they need a Floral shop and a Bakery but thankful they have a pharmacy.

Love my HyVee. Couldn't imagine shopping anywhere else and the meat quality is amazing

A very well kept and well stocked grocery store. Didn't use the eat-in facility but looked to have good selection and clean.
