Staff is great and the downstairs is gorgeous but my room had mold in the shower curtain and a previous guests callus cushion left on the floor. Made my stay a little more uncomfortable than it needed to be.

We choose to stay on the 18th floor. Incredible views although the window was fairly dirty (inside more than outside!). View of the Arch is incredible, we could see the Stadium from our room as well.
Parking is either valet or you find a local garage and walk a bit.
The general facility and main areas appear to be well cared for. Our room left a little to be desired. The beds were incredibly small (doubles) and creaked loudly, even with small children sleeping on them. Our bathroom vent didn't work and the tub had obviously been repainted and was peeling horribly. The drain in the shower was super slow so you were standing in water with paint chips swirling around you. Disappointed with this for the price we paid.

The manager Mark made me feel like a princess. He helped me and my friends so much. This hotel is big and beautiful but I went out of a side door and got locked out. Mark found me and helped me directly to my room with a smile and great attitude. Such an angel.

We've stayed at this hotel before because the location is great. However, this time when we checked in we were told that the room type we reserved was unavailable. We were disappointed, but agreed to check in. When we got to the lesser room it reeked of smoke, was unmade up and covered with trash.  We went to the desk and requested a new room. They told us they were sold out and couldn't give us a different room (which was weird as the hotel was still selling rooms online - I mentioned they and they said there was really nothing they could do). We were told to wait an hour or so and they'd clean the room. Even if they had cleaned up the room the smell would have been impossible.  We were told by the front desk we could cancel since there was no other room to switch us to.   We expected to not be charged at all.   Then I received a charge on my credit card from the hotel. I called to get the fee reversed, I was told it would be taken care of.   I then got a notice saying they could refund one night only, not the entire trip.

Again, if we could have actually stayed at the hotel, I would not be as upset.   However, the condition and smell of the wrong room type made staying impossible.   If they truly were sold out and couldn't give us a new room, they should be able to refund us for a room that didn't stay in. We had to book at another hotel night off and pay for transportation there. Very disappointed because the location is great for future trips, but the smell, poor service and the lack of returned funds as promised.

The experience is not that much good. There rooms and rest room are not that much clean. There is no privacy. Even if you told them that you don’t require services still they will open the door of room without permission. That is super irritating. They don’t have water in there dispensers. They are always empty. The place is also smelly.

DO NOT BOTHER STAYING HERE FOR THE 4TH OF JULY! They have a terrace we were told it was open just to be kicked out rudely 15 minutes before the fireworks started. It was just 3 families with young kids. No alcohol or rowdiness and we were treated like delinquents. What a waste of money!

Excellent weekend with our Grandkids in St. Louis. We very much appreciated the fact that this hotel is literally across the (2 lane) street from the Arch & a City Park with splash pad for the kids!
Plenty to do, staff was very friendly and it was clean. All things we look for when we travel.

We were so close to the Gateway Arch and to Busch Stadium I would definitely recommend this hotel to stay at when your in St. Louis. I'm going back to St. Louis in July and I've already booked my room for my stay. The customer service is great.

I didn’t give this place five stars because I didn’t like being surprised with a 48$ valet parking fee. When we arrived, their parking garage was full. Which I don’t understand unless they are selling spots to non hotel residence. There was something in town going on.
* parking fees *
Valet= 48$. Regular parking fee = 36$ a night.

I checked in and they charged the 48$ per night fee. Second night I opted for valet again on my own accord because it felt safer to.

Location is perfect. Because the arch is a few steps away. The museum down there is free at the arches.

Beds were comfortable and clean. Pay attention to the elevators or you’ll get stuck on one and not end up on your floor.

No where on the website or anywhere does it say the cost of parking so hopefully you read this review and know ahead of time.

Would I stay here again? Probably not. I’d rather spend the same amount for the room a little more out of the city and make the drive in to save 100$ in parking fees.

The only good thing about this hotel is the location. They do not have ample parking. We arrived and had two options vallet parking or park away from the hotel and walk back. Like who builds a hotel and not have parking. The other thing about the parking is we had to go get our car in the morning. No I had to pay vallet service you should bring me my car. Like do they not know what vallet parking is. Then the escalators are out of service. The elevators nearly knocked me out.

Now lets talk about the over priced room. First it smelled funny. Musty. Yuck. My husband put some drinks in the fridge
We go for a walk and come back to realize that the fridge is unplugged. Now if the hotel can't afford to have the fridge on don't have them. My husband had to plug in the fridge.

Lets talk bedding. Weighted blankets not my cup of tea. Can you buy some decent pillows.

One more thing clean your carpets.

Terrible, nonexistent housekeeping service. Requested clean towels at 8: 00 a.m. And when we returned to our room at 5: 00 p.m. We still didn't have clean towels, so we called again. By 8: 00 p.m. We still didn't have clean towels, so we called again. I offered to come and get them, but told that was not allowed. By 10: 30 p.m. We still didn't have clean towels. By next morning, still no clean towels. Also, oversold on-site parking. It's cramped and cars were parked in the driving lanes. Rooms were spacious, and beds were comfortable. However, would choose a different hotel next time.

We went to this hotel during Fourth of July. We got there at 2 AM, but didn’t actually get into our hotel room til 6 AM. Why? Because the person at the front desk told us that every single credit card that we pulled out (we were 5 adults and 4 kids) didn’t work. He said that all of our cards declined, and told us to call the bank. When we called, the bank confirmed at every single one of our cards worked just fine! So we asked him if we could switch to another computer to pay, but he kept telling us “Oh, it won’t work. ” But guess what? The moment we actually went to a different computer, all of our cards worked! By then, however, it was already 6. Later, we found out that it was actually something wrong with the computer. The person at the front desk just shrugged. The whole time, it felt like as if he was saying “oh, it’s not my fault, it’s yours. ” Also, there was no self parking when we got there, so we had to use the mansion house.

While I like the location of the hotel, I am disappointed with the deception on parking. I was under the impression I could self park, but when I got there to check in at check in time, the self park was full. Ended up parking three blocks away having to lug our luggage because I refused to be forced to pay $48 for valet when I booked this room under the impression I would be able to self park in the premises.

Here for a workshop. Fourth floor men's restroom doesn't seem to be cleaned regularly. Also no paper towels and soap. Escalator not working.

Terrible experience at the hotel and extremely rude front desk staff (Charles Williams).

I originally had booked 4 nights at the Hyatt Regency, St Louis. However, I had to move rooms after first night due to loud noise from the street. The second room allocated had a metal cranking noise coming from the AC vent.

Upon calling the front desk at 11.50 PM to send maintenance, I was very rudely told by front desk (Charles Williams) it will take 30-40 mins for the maintenance to come. However, no one showed up and when I called again around 12.30 am, Charles told me to wait further. When I requested to move me to another room, he hung up saying he needs to check in the other guests and will call me back. He never called me back and I finally went down to the lobby around 1 am.

When I introduced myself and asked to give me a new room, he smirked and said "Oh, its YOU! " Charles was overly rude during the whole interaction making me extremely uncomfortable and feeling unsafe.

As a Hyatt globalist member, I expect better service and recognition for my loyalty.

Additionally, its an extremely unsafe in downtown area in the night so stay somewhere in Clayton.

For as high as the hotel room is I didn't have a fitted sheet on my king-size bed. I didn't have a fridge raider. Everything else was pretty much pleasant. It's a battle of having a fight to put the fitted sheet back on the bed.

Location was great for our visit but that was about it. We were forced to do valet for our car, the self-park was not an option when we arrived. It took on average 20-30 minutes to drop off and pick up our car when we wanted to use it. The valet lost our keys and have not been friendly in communicating the issue. It ended in us waiting over an hour for our car, disrupting our plans for the east of the evening. Overall the valet staff has been very rude and unprofessional. For $50/night I expect better.

Rooms are kept well. A little run down. Hallways are dirty and not kept well. Location is perfect by the arch and the stadium. The valet service is slow, rude, and unprofessional. Services often took us over 30 minutes.

I initially booked with the Cardinals 2 ticket package for the night of a game we were planning to see. After booking, I received no information on when I would recieve the tickets. Upon contacting the ticket package contact listed on an email, I got no response after several days. I ended up canceling as the reason I picked this hotel was because of the game I wanted to attend and the ticket package. I will be booking something cheaper and purchasing tickets separately.
