Iguana Azul, Nevada MO

Only thing I wasn't happy about was I asked for a throw away cup with water for my service dog who stayed in my arms the entire time she would have even had me holding the water while she was drinking it but the waiter refused. She's a t-cup Chihuahua less than 1lb, I don't see 9r understand what the problem was.

Iguana Azul is my favorite date-night restaurant. You can enjoy visiting without feeling rushed to free up a table!

Have come here on and off since it opened years ago but we're giving up. Just continues getting more and more where everything we order is mediocre other than cheap good margaritas. Obvious that a lot of recipes are overly preprepared and thrown together. Chips often cold. Why can't any of these MO mexican restaurants not use store bought hard taco shells? Is it that hard to fry fresh tortilla shells at time of each order? Half the flavor of a hard taco comes from the greasy shell. Don't order their Chili Colorado - muy bland sauce that's not cooked with meat just thrown on top. Sorry for bad review. Want it to succeed. Needs someone to come and "fire up" lazy kitchen.

This place never disappoints! Delicious food. Great service. Pleasant atmosphere. Drove here from Fort Scott to have a nice dinner. Great menu options and the desserts are amazing! Highly recommend. Reasonable prices. Family friendly. Daily specials.

The food was perfect I got the 5 tacos order and was simple perfect the hot sauce perfect

One of the best Chimichamgas I've ever had. Pico De Gallo that was inside tested good, a good surprise after a longer trip up to KC.

Fast and friendly service. Great atmosphere and decor. Queso and chips were excellent. Fajitas were a little dry and needed more flavor. House margaritas were average at best.

The food was ok. It's not something to write home about but palatable. The environment where we were seated (party of 10) was ok. It's definitely suitable for the 6 kids we had with us. Waitstaff was attentive, but not overbearing, which is ideal. Overall, I've been to better, but I've also been to worse.

We had lunch here. There were very few diners. The service was good, but we had to ask if there was a Margarita special for lunch. Yes. 16 Oz for $3.99 and 28 Oz for $5.99. The drink was good, but the glass needed much more salt. The food was good, though all was very mild. They do have hot sauce on the tables. The only food mistake was mine. I ordered a chicken enchilada Ala carte and got cheese.

Very good! We had a great experience this time! Food was great! I gave service a 4 because they forgot some cheese but otherwise it was awesome!

All the Food is the same. Just put in differing combinations. Awesome Drinks and good guacamole. Other than that no go.

It's a beautiful place inside with a wonderful staff. Our waiter was awesome & our food was delicious! I had the Cancun Burrito & it was HUGE! My only complaint would be the Queso.it's not flavorful enough for me. The kid's loved it though. We were given fresh cut flowers after our meal for Mother's Day which was really nice. This was our first time there. We'll definitely be going back & recommending it to others.

Great stop while cutting over from 69 to 49. Good staff and plenty of space inside, so don't let the lines of cars out front fool ya. Tacos Mexicanos plate is a winner.

The Popeye enchilada wasn't as cheesy as I remembered (we had moved & just visiting) Few customers because of time but service was also not as good.

Avocado/spinach burrito was super excellent. First time eating it. Thanks for the suggestion Carli!

We've been coming here for years. Last night went with our grandson. The food is ok. The service is the worst. Took forever to get a highchair for my grandson. The waitress was very unfriendly and standoffish. At the end of meal I asked.for togo boxes for my grandson and mine and the cheese dip. Waiting a good 10 min. For container for cheese dip. Finally just put bowl in box cause never brought me container. Found a charge Newtech fee for over $2.00 on ticket. I believe Kristy our server gave us wrong receipt. Service and friendlyness means a lot. We received none of the above

Always a great stop in Nevada coming to and from NW AR and KS City. Great food, reasonable prices and definitely get the cheese dip!

Horrible service had to ask for a second drink and never got it. Server didn't know what to do when I said I will take any beer just bring me one. Pretty sure I got the runs from their nacho cheese sauce.
