Furniture Store IKEA reviews
20 The fiance and I love coming here to grab lunch. Yes, you read that right, lunch.
They have very reasonably priced food that is all great quality. (Get the meatballs, of course)
While we are here we say hey to the Blahaj plush and check out the wares.
We've bought so much furniture from Ikea and even bought some candles for our upcoming wedding decor.
Plant lovers can also find a good selection of cheap pots and basic live plants.
Their products are affordable and great if you are a college student or just starting out. This is not my favorite location but the products are the same.
If you have been to 1 IKEA before, each store is different with the merchandise. I have visited a few stores in Bolingbrook, IL, Sacramento, CA, MN, and now St. Louis, MO. I love your stores. I get many ideas on how to decorate my small bedroom if I move here to get a little wiggle room. Or to add a few pieces of furniture to my room. I'm in search of 2 oblong vases and another seating piece at the end of my bed, in search of new curtains, etc. Overall it is a fun store to check out what's in style in their bed sheets, comforters, duvet, pillowcases, and patterns designs.
I love Ikea. But I'm a builder and a avid walker so lol. If you don't like walking or building things this won't be a good match but if you like an adventure or meatballs there's a restaurant on the third floor -a ton of great value s! And a great chance to get your work out in on the fly.
I've been here a couple of times before, this rating reflects my most recent experience.
They were out of multiple items I needed, most employees were unhelpful, and the worst part for my last trip was that I had a full cart of items plus a flat cart with a few more and all regular checkout lanes were closed. I had to do self checkout and I had a bad time. My cart was so full there wasn't enough room to unload everything to get it all scanned easily. I don't shop at certain grocery stores anymore that do this BS and now Ikea is doing it. I had $850 worth of items, can you imagine scanning all of that mess yourself? Please make it easier for customers to buy things.
One highlight was an employee in the market area was super helpful, and very friendly. The gentleman with the mohawk made my experience a lot better! Give that guy a raise.
I LOVE Ikea! You can get a bite to eat in their small restaurant and then walk off the calories in their spacious 2 levels. You can get the best ideas & products/home decor items for any home decorating projects you may have, no matter what size space you are working with or the room you are working in. They even have real house plants that you can purchase. I always leave with something.
My eight year old on Ikea: "It's a good thing this place sells food beacuse you could totally get lost in this place and spend a lifetime trying to find your way out".
Firm mattress - very good option. We found a really nice work table as well! The household furnishing options are really good here and you have self checkout - which is quite seamless
I love and hate this place all at the same time. I enjoy looking at all of the displays, but the place is so gigantic that it feels like you'll never get out, lol. I also have a hard time finding prices on things, so that can be frustrating. It is a fun place to check out though.
I was born in the 60’s and having a place to eat as well as shop was very popular as I was growing up. I am so glad to see that Ikea brought that ideal back to life. That have very nice finds in this massive warehouse and plenty of loading zones for your purchases. I have my eyes on this beautiful patio table set, I was very impressed to see how sturdy this set is, it looked lightweight and flimsy but to my surprise it was the best patio set I have ever seen.
Buffet service at steakhouse prices. When you add delivery and assembly prices you are betty off getting your stuff from a classic furniture store. Slow, inefficient customer service.
Visited Ikea. Very huge and lots of variety. Great discount offers. We are vegetarian and had a nice and very tasty food in Swedish restaurant over here…
Not a fan. Way to much walking, to just find stuff. I bet you can buy just as good if not better st Wal-mart or Amazon online, then dealing with this overpriced junk.
There was nobody in the store when I was there including employees until we got to checkout line. Luckily our packages were on lower shelves or we would have been operating the forklift ourselves.
Well, it's Ikea. There was no last star because there wasn't a lot of help at the end. Had to wait a long time to get your stuff they had to get. It's not a big deal to wait, but it took a long time. People were still nice. I felt bad for them.
We furnish many different properties in the St. Louis area and Ikea is a go to for us when it comes to furniture needed for staging and permanent usage. While we don't do a lot of staging we do help with getting the right furnishing for the right space. We pride ourselves on being resourceful and economical. Ikea helps us do that.
My girlfriend and I went to Ikea to shop for a new closet and we met the best employee named Iris. She sat down and helped us build a closet that fit our needs. She was extremely friendly and genuinely excited to help us. If you are looking to update your closet please go see her! You will not be disappointed!
If you have been to an ikea you will know exactly what to expect. They do a good job of keeping the store and restrooms clean. Pro move is to park under the store, way less walking and way more loading zones!
I love IKEA. Maybe I’m just jealous because we don’t have an IKEA where I live (Oklahoma)! But everytime we come across one and go into it is always such a fun experience! The displays are amazing, quality goods that are unique to this store and that you can’t get elsewhere and a very surprisingly good food court! The food actually made us come back twice! It’s very affordable homemade tasting food, cafeteria style, with pretty good sized portions! Also the pride sidewalk in the parking lot, absolutely Love this!
Love Ikea as long as I ignore the other customers and some of the employees. The cafeteria people are always very friendly.
