Company dinner, so the menu was preselected. Service was outstanding and the portions for the meal allowed me to sample the appetizers, salad, meal and desert without feeling over stuffed. Private dinning room was nice but a little tight for 24.

In my experience, to find a place like this, you typically have to go to The Hill. This place is in the county and has plenty of parking.

The food was delicious. Our waiter, John D.was terrific. The only reason i gave it 4 out of 5 stars was because of the wait. I do recommend.

This is the place to go if you like veal. This is the place to go if you appreciate restaurants that care about how the food they order looks and tastes. This is the place to go if you think that the staff wants to make sure that you have a great time.

This family has been a part of the St. Louis restaurant community for decades. They know their craft!

The ambiance at Il Bel Lago is cozy and romantic. We enjoyed this spinach salad and lasagna. Each dish is prepared with fresh ingredients and us unbelievably tasty. The manager on duty and our waiter Gerard was very attentive. We were celebrating my daughter's 21st birthday and they certainly are her feel special. I highly recommend this restaurant for your special occasion!

Changing my review from 5-Star to 2-Star. We've been eating at Il Bel Lago for years. In the past, they've always had great service and spectacular food. Unfortunately, our most recent visit over Memorial Day weekend was less than spectacular. The food was great as usual, but our waiter was rude and slow. I think had a bad waiter that tried to be funny by being condescending and rude. We will revisit the restaurant one time to see if this is a trend or a fluke.

This place is fantastic! The service and food are amazing. Gregory was our waiter, he was so much fun and knowledgeable. Everything was perfect. We will be back.

Lunch or dinner. This restaurant is a great get to know everything they have. Great selection. Lunch is no doubt my favorite. Calamari is an appetizer on the dinner menu. They will make it for lunch, too. The hamburger puts ALL OTHERS TO SHAME. Never brought guests that didn't love this place. Don't miss the smoked salmon plate

Fabulous meal! Waiter was amazing—took great care of us and our 3 girls. Split anything and everything we needed. Calamari was delicious, as was all the pasta and salads. Loved the fish too, but the pasta was a stand-out. Thank you!

Great hidden gem. Stopped by change and was analyzing. Service was excellent. Food was perfect. Nice ambiance. Sat on patio and was perfect. Gina was amazing bartender, waitress, jack of all trade, ball of fire. One person running the whole place. Need more people like her. Strawberry chicken balsamic salad and margarita pizza was perfect.
The sangria and aperol spritz and sangria were perfect.

The food and service was really good. We got the crab artichoke dip and loved it. I like that it comes with bread and chips. Everything was a great portion for the price.

The cioppino was new and fantastic. It is a meal in itself. Our server was extremely good and attentive. I was there with a group of 12. I cannot wait to go back
