Ivy Jean's Ozark Farmstead LLC, Cape Fair MO

What a special place! I stayed here with a large group of family and friends for a summer vacation and retreat. Cyndi and Tim were excellent hosts. Be sure to find them on VRBO!

The nearby cove was perfect for swimming, fishing, and kayaking. The property is only 25 minutes from Branson, and the beautiful windy roads made it a peaceful drive. Cape Fair Marina is just a few minutes away. We enter a boat and spent the day on the lake.

The house was decorated beautifully, had PLENTY of space to spread out (inside and outside), the blackstone was perfect to cook on outside, and the kitchen inside had everything we needed.

Highly recommend this place.

What a hidden gemstone!
We contacted Cyndi, Owner of Ivy Jean’s Ozark Farmstead about touring her venue “Ivy Jean’s Farmstead” in the summer and instantly fell in love with the Farmstead’s beauty & layout.

We originally planned for a 1-day rental of the venue, but quickly realized that renting the full package for the entire wedding weekend was going to be the best scenario for our special day. Renting the full weekend package was the best thing we ever did!

This allowed us to have the cabin all to ourselves for girls’ night on the evening prior. We had opportunity to leisurely get ready, and cook a light breakfast. I might also add that Cyndi puts utmost of care into the PRIVACY of the bridal party’s quarters. Only the bridal party has access to the cabin during the stay.

I will also add from the bride’s point of view, the cabin was MADE to host a tribe of women!
Mirrors and small tables for makeup prep in natural-light areas, PLENTY of bathrooms with private toilets/ showers, sink and mirror in each room. The washroom situation could not have been better!
If I had to pick 1 word to describe the cabin, I would choose the word “CLEAN”.

The pavilions were also delightful- designed to have a very functional flow together. They allow guests and bridal party to move seamlessly between ceremony to reception. Cyndi & Tim ensured that everything was kept neatly, ADA public restrooms stocked and clean, among a plethora of other tasks that they accomplish so tactfully you don’t even realize it!

The entire overlook & scene beyond the ceremony platform is absolutely stunning! Our guests are still talking about how beautiful and unique it was!

Cyndi can host a variety of event styles and guest capacities. Our particular wedding was held in the fall. It was the largest size this venue can comfortably host at 125 guests. Many of our guest were from out of town. Local accommodations available nearby to assist with lodging needs (see some our favorites we used listed below).
Cyndi is an active member at the Table Rock Lake Chamber of Commerce and cultivates great relationships with local vendors such as Flat Creek Restaurant, Decorators such as From Ruffles to Rust and local photographers like Ignite Creative. If you need a local resource for ANYTHING while planning your wedding, Cyndi is your gal!

In summary, our wedding experience at Ivy Jeans Ozark Farmstead was absolutely wonderful!

• Zero stress in preparation (venue hosts are well-prepared to receive your party).
• Great communication experienced with venue host.
• Quality, local accommodations nearby available such as Bridgeport Resort, The Cottages at Fair Haven Cove, Cape Fair Marina & Campground, Flat Creek Lodge, along with many other Airbnb/alterative stay options within minutes of venue.
• We felt the value-to-quality of this venue was 5-stars.
• Faith-based and operated venue
• Wheelchair accessible
• Tons of amazing photography options/locations on-site or nearby for any style.
• Secluded, but not hard to locate
• Wedding Party/Guest Parking was well organized. For larger parties (and small ones too!), Tim will closely assist and manage parking. There is very little walking from extended parking to venue, but even if that is too much for individuals with mobility challenges, Tim has a golf cart to assist.
• ADA accessible
• Venue Host pays utmost respect to your party’s privacy; while tactfully still taking care of all necessary tasks. This one is huge for brides! We could not have been more pleased with Cyndi & Tim’s impeccable pre-planning and event execution.

While there is a plethora of other reasons to have your wedding or event at Ivy Jean’s Ozark Farmstead, these were our personal “check the box” reasons why we chose this venue. I would encourage anyone looking for a 2 - 125 person-count event to tour the grounds, and discuss venue options that fit your needs. Cyndi will gladly show you this hidden beauty she’s so thoughtfully built and maintains with love and care.

We couldn't have picked a better place for our wedding! It was everything we wanted. I needed to get married in a church with the blessing of God, and my husband needed the log chapel in the woods! It was a perfect fit. Cyndi and Tim were so welcoming and warm, and just by chance the scriptures she used during our ceremony, felt as they were written specifically for us. Thank you for our unforgettable perfect beginning. We will be back this summer with all our family for a weekend celebration enjoying ALL THE BEAUTY this place has to offer.
