Jack Stack Barbecue - Lee's Summit

We ate or carried out from here 4 times in the 2 weeks we visited Lee's Summit from Troy, MI. My husband is from KC so he introduced me to KC-style barbecue! We love smokey sweet. We even carried out Mother's Day dinner. Love the roundup (with the exception of turkey.substitute more of the other meats. It was like turkey lunch meat. Skip it!) Brisket, ribs, burnt ends, and pulled pork.delicious! Beans & coleslaw! I wasn't a big fan of cheesy corn.but it's real popular! Love the smell just passing by the restaurant!

We are from Michigan and Jack's Stacks was recommended. Sure glad we did. Loved the burnt beef tips and the pulled pork was awesome. It was my wife's birthday and they included a piece of cake on the house. Very nice. Thank you!

My husband and I ordered take out. Very disappointed. The fire kissed wings were burnt and terribly salty. We frequently dine there and normally eat in. We were surprised the take out was so disappointing. My husband loves eating wings there. But he couldn't eat these. We were not asked what sauce we wanted when we ordered. They chose to put in the HOT sauce. We couldn't eat that either. We paid $50.00 with tip we could only eat the baked potato we ordered with it.

Fiorella's Jack Stack: Nothing bad to say here. All the meats were very tender and fresh. The sides were great. This is a KC staple so wouldn't expect anything less.

I grew up with the original smoke stack and jack stack always is consistent and delicious. I feel the portions could be a tiny bit larger but I never leave hungry. Best beans ever!

Love this place, we eat here often and I've never even been mildly disappointed. If something isn't right they bend over backwards to take care of it, you can't ask or expect anymore than that because nobody is perfect.

We saw the good reviews online and decided to try it today for the first time. My fiance and I shared the choose 3 sampler combo and couldn't believe how tiny the 2 sides were (baked beans and cheesy corn). Each side was barely enough for 1 person, let alone for 2 to share. I expected real cheese in the corn like cheddar or something but it was more like velveeta, gross. The meat portions were tiny as well. There were just 3 burnt end pieces, mostly fat instead of meat, and the lamb ribs were overcooked and dry. They also never mentioned that choosing lamb ribs would cost an additional $3.50, much to our surprise when we saw the receipt at home. The bread tasted like something out of a grocery store shelf and not fresh made in a restaurant. We had such high hopes for our first experience but were left disappointed and hungry instead.

Amazing food, the likes of which can rarely be found elsewhere in the country. This should always be among the best bbq places in the world, no matter it's geographical region. My favorite is the burnt ends and the baked beans. I will be returning in the future.

This was a very nice atmosphere and great food! There are high end menu items and budget friendly choices too. The fried mushrooms were giant sized and delicious!

Very good food, a little pricey for BBQ but the restaurant looked very nice and the service was great too.

My favorite bbq in kc. The new Lee's Summit local is great. However if you use your nav you will have to locate it thru the sizable mall streets. Brisket my fav. However, the prime rib is near indescribably luscious.

Good food but things are slipping.we weren't given straws or sauces or even asked if we wanted any. We had to ask for straws per managers request that customers essentially have to ask for everything. This place was top notch when it opened but its starting go downhill.

Best BBQ joint in KC. This is the place my Hannity goes to if there is a special occasion to celebrate.

Good food but a bit overpriced. Cornbread is great, fries were a bit salty, wife had pulled pork and said it was good. I had the 1/2 pound sandwich with turkey and ham. Good sandwich but turkey was a little dry.

8/14/18 at 2: 15 pm order sampler for Granddaughter and myself. Ribs were burnt and they was not the burnt ends. Burnt ends was dry and tough. Bake beans good but dry, not juicy. Service was good, just don’t know what’s happening in the kitchen anymore! Need new cooking staff!

Always a "must visit" when visiting the Kansas City MO area! Large portions, great flavour, and friendly staff either at the table or when sitting at the bar.

My family and I tried to eat here today on Father's Day because it is my dad's favorite place. We were told the wait would be an hour and 45 minutes, so we found another place to eat because of the long wait. However, a table was ready only 20 minutes after, but we had already ordered at another place. Overall poor service and management left my dad and family upset and disappointed today.

Great BBQ. Great service. The food was excellent had the beef burnt ends and sausage. The bbq beans were great also. The staff was very accommodating to our entire group.

The food was amazing, and so were the servers! Several people took care of us and made sure we were all satisfied and had what we wanted. We came in with many people and all of us were extremely happy with how our experience went. Thank you!

Consistently great food and service. Maybe not the VERY best BBQ in KC but definitely in the top 5. Stop thinking about going and just GO!
