Talk about a complete failure of public service. I have been contacting Jackson county regarding an over payment for the last several months and nobody has ever returned my call or replied to my emails. Today I got a letter demanding payment for something we have already submitted a cashier's check for. Why am I paying taxes? Clearly we are employing utterly incompetent people in this county.

After waiting on hold for almost AN HOUR, I had the rudest customer service representative. I believe her name was Marsha and if you are not one who likes to deal with the public, then I suggest a new career. You were rude and to top it off, you hung up on me. The customer service is absolute trash.

So I just called for a breakdown of my property taxes and they told me they don't have the time for that. I call every year because I like to know how much I'm paying for each car besides my husband pays taxes for his cars and I pay for mines. And this is the first time they tell me this. How dare they tell me they don't have the time for breakdowns when I waited an hour for them to help me. So disappointing and rude.

Went this afternoon after waiting on hold for over 30 mins and when it was my turn the lady at the counter was so RUDE. She made it seem like I was annoying her. I hate to say this but IT IS YOUR JOB TO HELP THE PUBLIC! PERIOD!

Have us all outside waiting in line in the rain, have a sign in instructions in the front so noone knows and goes in line and miss their turn, totally unorganized.i wouldnt treat my dogs like this but yet we are being left in the cold like this

Worst organization ever. We waited for hours just to update our taxes while we were told only one person can take care of it in the whole building. Go elsewhere unless you want to waste an entire day.

Wish I had gotten the name of the lady I had talked too, but I called about some property taxes I was missing and she was polite, professional and very helpful in getting me on the right path to claim my property and pay my taxes so I could renew my tags!

Most unhelpful staff I have ever come across. Unfortunately I had to go into the collection office three times last month and spent 2+ hours there each time. Slow, unhelpful, and unfriendly.
