Jalisco Mexican Restaurant, California MO

I was told that the food at Jalisco's was better than average by a friend. He said don't let the building fool you. Extremely glad that I didn't. The only thing better than the food was the very attentive server. If you are driving through California MO and your hungry, this place will not let you down!

Good food and service. Had the shrimp chimichanga. Awesome! And a couple cervesas. Will definitely go back.

This place really needs shut down. Electrical extention cords, boarded areas, dishes were dirty, handed us utensils with wet nasty napkins folded around, table sauces out of date and crusty, rat traps everywhere around the building, menu looked like it had been eaten by mice, chips were stale and looked like they were cooked twice because they were stale but it didn't help, the salsa tasted old, and I could go on and on. Did not feel safe eating here.

Hope your not thirsty, the waitress dropped my food off and didn’t come back to check on anything.

Had lunch here today on 12-15-21. I ordered Hawaiian fajitas, they were delicious and served hot. The service was great. I will definitely be back and recommend this place to anyone.

Great little Mexican restaurant to eat at if you don’t want to drive far to eat Mexican! And friendly service. They serve with a smile!

I love their for big portions they share with customers. Service is always handed to you with a smile. This is my favorite Mexican restaurant. They give you plenty of cheese with every bite.

Food is authentic and yummy, great portions, friendly and clean small diner-style environment. The smells of made-to-order spices and meats that fills the air and quiet ambiance makes this one of our favorite places. Prices are good too!

Have always received fast and friendly service. No long waits on receiving orders. Always been great food.

It's an ok experience, a bit pricey compared to other mexican restaurants, the food is ok and the staff is really friendly.

Every time that we have eaten there we have been very well taken care of and the food has always been very good and the service has excellent quality and very affordable and great food.

Customer service wasnt that great, restraunt wasnt half capacity and took forever just to take our order I had to pull aside two people to ask someone tontake our order. I ended up going to front desk on my third time to ask our order to be taken. Our food was over cooked and without flavor. Will not dine in or visit this location or any other branches again. I wouldnt refer anyone to this restraunt.

More than likely won't be going back here again, I'd rather travel to Jeff. I ordered a Taco Salad with no cheese sauce, no sour cream, extra beef, extra shredded cheese. I didn't get the extra of either. I sat in the restaurant waiting for my order to be taken while the staff was talking on their cell phones, when they finally hung up I was still ignored other than the spanish conversation about "Americanos" (which seemed quite the joke). I think next time I'll go to Jeff where I'll atleast get what I order while being laughed at in another language.

Been here since 6: 50pm. Got seated right away, took till 7: 14 to get drinks-sweet tea. The other two people in my party just got thier food 7: 25pm, and I am still waiting. Only brought two sets of silverware, so just got my food 7: 27pm and still can't eat it. Had to tell him to bring me silverware, napkins, sauce and refill on drinks since he's been avoiding all his tables. 7: 32 and now I have silverware! NOT COMING BACK. LaHacienda in Boonville is worth the drive-go there and get excellent service with Carlos.

They don't have exact prices they will take your money. Food very inconsistent. Sometimes it's good sometimes their chicken or steak is all junk meat and tendons.

There food is amazing! However EVERYTIME I call to order food and this one lady answers my order is ALWAYS messed up and it’s always a huge deal and I’m constantly spending more money than I should, I have to repeat my order to the lady 20 times. It’s not just one thing that’s messed up either is always the whole order, and when I have her fix it, it’s either STILL wrong or missing something

Don't base your prices on the internet menu prices my meal was twice as expensive getting it carry out then having it delivered by a second party

Overall this restaurant has amazing food and service! My only gripe is tgatast time I dined here they seated us at a table with a salsa mess still on the table top, however as soon as it was brought to their attention it was cleaned. The food is really good and very authentic and the margaritas are huge!
