James River Nursing and Rehabilitation reviews
7Terrible place for your loved ones. Staff shortage is so bad that medications are not passed or are extremely late. Management is very poor Don and ADon very bad and are uncaring. Patient care is terrible.
Only giving a so so rating. Many of the people that work here are very careing and helpful but there is a problem with them being severely understaffed.
Slow care as well as many other things I could list on here one of the worst nursing homes that I have been in recently
This is a great place to work! Ever since we moved from louisiana we have worked here. Me and my wife are going on 6 years here and i couldnt ask for a better family oriented place to work for! James river has a strong core based employee team that cares about your loved ones each day at a time there is no other place id rather work even if the opportunity presented itself i am blessed to be where i am!
I have worked for this organization for over 21 years and I can tell you that James River Nursing & Rehabilitation is the Best at caring for your loved one! We truly are a caring Family and we will always treat your loved one as such.
The staff treated me like a family member and encouraged me with each new step in my recovery. The food was good and a variety. I am glad I chose James River when I needed help with my care until I could take care of myself. Thank you to all my caregiver and the food preparers.
I have been working in long-term care for nearly twenty-three years. When I began this career, it was as the Social Services/Admissions Director for another facility. When we had families needing immediate placement for a loved one, and I had no availability, James River became one of the first facilities I would recommend. To be a part of this amazing team with such caring staff some twenty-plus years later has felt like coming “full circle. ”
