I’ve had a hankering for some GOOD livers. Nobody around TN had any so I decided to stop here on the way to IN. HANDS DOWN BEST LIVERS IVE EVER ATE! My boys got the white meat dinners & they were so good also! Good slaw (Mayo not vinegar.yay!) and mashed taters & gravy & okra were great! You can’t go wrong here. The ladies were nice and helpful also! I’ll be back for sure!

Spectacular little chicken joint. Hands down the best fried gizzard I've ever had. Barely any bite to them as opposed to the crispy fried bubblegum you get most places. The steak biscuit and 3 piece were great as well! Had the Mac and cheese, broccoli and cheese, and turnip greens and all were above average. Staff is friendly and the place isn't super modern but very clean. The prices are almost jaw-dropping in this day and age. Dad and I had lunch for under $20, as opposed to almost $20 each like normal. If you're in Sikeston and in the mood for chicken this place beats out the best of them. 11/10 MUST TRY

We went down to have breakfast on Saturday morning and experienced one of the worst cashiers we've ever had to deal with. This girl was rude and VERY inconvenienced by us being there. We likely won't come back.sad.

Good place to go after a good Sunday sermon. The chicken is delicious and the employees are courteous. It is a friendly environment. Try it out through the week also.

This place is a throwback.

We got breakfast here, and it was excellent, very cheap, with very generous portions.

This is the type of place that the old heads, and the youngins will like.

A humble building with amazing food! The fried chicken was especially delicious, and the biscuit was outstanding. I enjoyed the cold slaw and ham and beans, as well. We will be back!

Always great food, but like everything else these days, it's getting expensive to eat out. If you want a great breakfast or chicken dinner and don't mind spending a little extra for convenience, it's definitely the place to go!

A little salt goes a long way, and with all the (mostly) positive reviews here, I was shocked that this little place had such bland food! Seriously, all they needed was some seasoning in the chicken coating and it would’ve been better. Mashed potatoes were so bland, the coleslaw was extremely wilted and just sitting in liquid. It was so, so gross! We stopped by thinking it was going to be a hit but it not definitely was a miss! Will not be back.

Ok so I asked not once but twice for my eggs to be scrambled with cheese meaning the cheese is mixed with egg but instead I get a folded scrambled eggs with a slice of cheese in it and the cheese didn’t melt so yeah my eggs was cold. I don’t know who the cook was but he didn’t understand the assignment!

Workers were amazing but $18 for “chicken strips” that aren’t even the size of my finger is ridiculous. On top of that they weren’t even fresh made like the bone in chicken they were from a frozen bag. I asked how much they would be individually and they told me $2.50 which is more per strip than a fresh chicken breast.

Don't let the outside fool you, this place is amazing! The fried chicken is some of the best I have ever had, biscuits are good and not dry, fried okra was hot and crispy. The prices are good, the staff are friendly and the sweet tea is so good! I will definitely be back!

I ordered 2of their 2pcs snacks when I opened my box I asked the girl at the window can we have some better looking chicken she comes back with one piece and wasn’t friendly at all he attitude was the WORST on top of that their chicken has fallen off really bad it doesn’t taste the same Not a good place to eat unless you go between 10: 30-11: 00 when the chicken first come up out the fryer

This place has gone down hill bad. Chicken isn't the same and is never fresh. Plus, the girls that work there are so rude. Heaven for bid, you ask for something extra or change anything in your order.you'll get dirty looks and window slammed. This used to be my go-to place, but now I probably won't go to it. Tommy is the only person who treats his customers right. Jay's I miss the old you.

New to us. Very busy which said it must be good. It did not disappoint. The chicken and sides were very good. You may choose your own pieces and sides. The coleslaw was ummmm good! A bit of old time atmosphere.

The food is always good when I go and it's not to often. Last time I went the food was nice and hot. Whenever I come to Sikeston I try to make it to Jay's.
