Jazz A Louisiana Kitchen, Columbia MO

I was actually looking for a different restaurant when I stumbled across Jazz A Louisiana Kitchen and boy am I glad I couldn't find the other one. The food is excellent and it's very reasonably priced. If you like Cajun cooking you have to go here.

Went for my birthday dinner last night. Ordered the stir-fry Cajun and was told by waitress it was good. Got my food and the rice was over cooked and crunchy and all 3 proteins especially the steak was over cooked and tough. My mom got the same thing and was also disappointed. The plates were also very small from the last time I ate here and hard to eat off of with the amount of food on them. Disappointing Birthday to say the least. Might not be back

Out for our anniversary we decide on Jazz. It was a slow start. It was super busy, feel like it caught them off guard. It was obvious they were short staffed. I could almost feel like I was starting to get frustrated because we sat for 20mins before service. Now here comes server BRITTANY! This girl came in, took drink order, had it delivered in 1min. Took our order, set an 8 top, checked her other tables AND all the time helping a young, unseasoned server. BRITTANY sat everyone, got drinks, and reeled it in. THEN enters. KC, or Kasey, not sure, but he was from the kitchen. Dude made it happen. He was cleaning tables, running food and all the time being fun, friendly and engaging. I appreciated him as much as the waiter staff. I hope KC, Casey? Columbia Mo will be honored for being a true team player. Thank you Brittney for dialing in the overwhelming amount of people and keeping the service with a smile. JAZZ has always surpassed my expectations

We went in for an unplanned meal at 7pm on a weekday night. Our server Jobe was great. Drinks never empty. Answered questions. Even kind of looks like Travis Kelce according to my sister. Our food came out promptly. Gumbo was good! We had the catfish Alfredo on seafood stuffing with garlic mashed. Blacked salmon and succotash. Tired the beignets for the first time. Sooo good. And that icing is amazing. 5/5. Will be back again. Thanks Jobe. Also, there was a gentleman from the kitchen who was stellar as well. Server who seated us was also friendly and kind. Bartender said bye & thank you as we were leaving.

Food was great, and the live music was really nice to have while spending the night out with the wife!

The food is so flavorful! I’m definitely coming back. There’s nothing like it in Columbia!

Friday dinnertime not the best time for pickup order. I ordered jambalaya with 4 hazel sauces but only got 1. Had to wait for server to come get my payment and food out of the warmer. That system could use tweaking.

We go to Jazz every year for our anniversary. It’s our favorite restaurant in COMO. The chicken a La mer is worth the hype!

Food was very flavorful. Bread pudding was one of the best I've ever eaten. Lauren was a super waitress. Worth visiting again and ordering extra to take home. Thumbs up guys!

Love the Chicken a la mer and succotash. These are my go to's here. Service is always excellent as well.

We have been here a few times and the food is always great. We got jambalaya as an appetizer and it was excellent. I had the shrimp poboy and it was very good. My wife had the chicken etoufee and really liked it. The hush puppies were crispy and excellent.

First time customer and plan to be a repeat one!
The place is simply unique. The atmosphere is super nice.

We had the wings and they were great. The Jambalaya was fantastic.

I just love this place! Been coming here for a while and the food is amazing each time. Today I decided to get lunch and I’m about an hour away from this location. Pull up and they were close so I called in. Brittany was so nice and kept apologizing for the incorrect time online she asked me what I wanted. She still made my order which made my day and was amazingly nice! Great customer service and great place to eat!

Our waitress was super and helpful. We would definitely return. The food wasn't greasy and lots of options to pick from

I absolutely love the food here. Service is always excellent. The seafood St. Charles was amazing and huge serving.
