Jazzy B's BBQ, Lee's Summit MO

Oh how I love this place. Finally a BBQ joint that isn't huffing its own smoke. As a KC native we are picky about our BBQ and this joint hits the spot. The food is painstakingly prepared by a small tight knit crew which leads to a level of consistency that is so comforting. If you have a favorite dish, it will be that good every time you come. Even their fries are legit (try the jazzy sauce)

I used to come here fairly regularly. Was always overpriced, but I was fine with that because it had a very unique flavor. Hadn't been there in 10 months, until I craved it one day. So I went there.it was gone, the pictures you see are not that place anymore. So I called and asked " where they moved to? " They moved into arcade alley, a bar in lees summit. So I go there. Not only could ya not order from the kitchen, ya had to scan your phone on a barcode and wait.no idea why they moved, but it was a bad decision.a once unique place turned itself into a VERY LACLUSTER eatery. The food all of a sudden sucked, and so did the bar. Not sure how they can call themselves an arcade.

I've been to STL, KC, and everywhere in between in MO. Not only was the food fantastic, but the people and staff in there were second to none! Most places try to sell you on a main item and take a half approach on sides.well not here! Not only were all the smoked meats incredible (I got burnt ends, brisket, ribs, and wings), but every side I got was also AMAZING (I got potato salad, Mac, beans, armadillo eggs, apple slaw, AND THE CORN!).

I love this place! Look at any other review I have posted and tell me where where I posted 2 paragraphs! This place is LEGIT! I mean, even down to a great bun and even the pickles.not one corner was cut! Again, I love this place and will eat here EVERY time I'm in the area! Thanks for the fantastic food and unforgettable company!

Loved the smoked meats! But we loved the staff even more! Great environment and very friendly staff. Made this put of towner feel at home.

I had jazzy b's for the first time today and I recommend getting the pulled pork sandwich and the baked beans. They were delicious! And the customer service was amazing. I will definitely be coming back.

Must be a family business. I could take words from the owner's mouth way over dramatic for a lot of money I rather go buy a pair of shoes Food OK prices what can I say Take a family better bring some hundreds

I didn’t know what to expect at first but I was pleasantly surprised. The food here is top notch and the blue cheese potatoes and pulled pork were excellent.

The brisket sandwich was very good. The service was great and others in my group said the crab balls and burnt ends were really good. I wouldn't recommend the fried mushrooms. I wasn't a fan of the breading on them.

I keep trying this place because I love the energy & spirit of the owner, but hadn't found a food item I liked. And then the 2nd visit they forgot something in our takeout order and 3rd time the teenager that took our order forgot to give the owner our order until he asked about it 25 minutes later. But glad we gave them a 3rd chance. The shrimp poor boy was sooo good, along with the apple/jicama coleslaw and crab balls. My husband loved his pulled pork sandwich with BBQ beans and their unique flavored French fries.

Did a Google search for BBQ restaurants that served burnt ends. Although Jack Stack BE's are delicious, We were tired of the high prices and low amount of BE's received. Jazzy B's was the first to come up on the search. Read the reviews and looked at the pics and decided to pop in last week. The smell was awesome! I spoke with who I believe to be was the owner and he assured me we would enjoy them. I must admit that ate 5 pieces before I made it home and had 6 pieces left over after we ate dinner. Those BURNT ENDS WERE SUCCULENT, TENDER, MEATY, JUICY. THEY WERE AWESOME! We will be choosing to dine in son. Thanks
