The canoes float just fine. Options of canoes, rafts, kayaks. The trip to the drop off point in the river is always an experience. And the river is beautiful and clean.

Very cool operation they got going on. They provide the rafts, canoes, tubes, or kayaks. You load your stuff on a bus, fry on and they drive you to the starting point of a 5 or 6 mile journey down the Black River as long as your at the end point by 6 you can take as long or little time as you want. Took us about 7 hours. With long stops to eat, play swim. We drug in a few spots but it was so much fun, my first time but certainly not my last. I didn't take my phone to get any pics today but we played in the river yesterday for several hours.

We can't get a refund on a canoe even when there is 75%-100% of possible thunderstorms and tornado weather 2 hours into are float trip. The excuse was because they are still putting people on the water. Well if anyone gets hurt in this weather they should be 1000% accountable for it.

Rented a kayak for myself and was taken to drop off point. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Needed a net for fishing and one lady offered us her own net. Definitely plan to continue to rent and stop at this place when we are floating.

Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. We did an overnight canoe trip, and they shared the weather forecast with us. They were on time for our 11: 30am pick up to head to the put in spot. They also described the pull out place well. A great time! Plus a cute dog to pet doesn't hurt!
